This is a reasonably priced, family owned establishment with good, fresh, filling Mexican food. Everyone is always helpful and friendly whenever I’ve gone into this place. It’s close to Union Square and convenient if you’re looking for a quick bite/something to go.

Baby burrito was the perfect size and was absolutely delicious! At only $ 5 for a baby burrito, I would eat here for every meal. Hole in the wall establishment that might be passed over because of appearance, but definitely worth trying.

Ive came here a few times after and Im sad to say that i wont be returning. The staff are super nice and they get your food out quick & give great portions but the food just isnt good… The food isnt fresh and really can taste that. The meat isnt good quality and even the guacamole is browning and pico de gallo just tastes old. Sad to say will no longer be coming here.

Yup; Solid Mexican food. The wet burrito was *way* bigger than it needed to be, and topped with guac and crema and pico it was fantastic. Their«mini» tacos are bigger than«mini» implies. But delicious. It’s truly a hole-in-the-wall, but I think that’s part of the attraction. Staff was just as friendly and courteous as they could be. Definitely this is going to be a regular stop on my route.

I enjoyed the tacos(especially the shredded pork and the chorizo). Quality ingredients and different options for what size of taco you want and how«loaded» you want it. I was visiting the city and returned for breakfast — really enjoyed the huevos chorizo(with rice and beans, pico de gallo, and corn tortillas). There was a lot and I took 1⁄3 of it in a doggy bag. Very friendly service. If you’re looking for trendy or modern décor this will not be your place, but if you are looking for a casual place where the focus is on the food /ingredients(as I was), you’ll be happy.

This is easily the best hole-in-the-wall Mexican food place you can find around downtown or Nob Hill. Emphasis on hole-in-the-wall. If you grew up in some sheltered suburb or are some uptight financial district person looking for a nice sit-down place to eat, this probably isn’t your joint. Their wet burrito and super nachos are both absolutely fantastic. The portions are quite generous and affordable by San Francisco standards — you can make away with a filling Mexican meal for around $ 10. The staff is always quite friendly, too. The only con is that they don’t serve horchata! However the Boba Guys next door kind of does.

The super burrito is the must have here. So many toppings, and bursting at the seams. It’s even plentiful if you eat it sans meat. I actually ate half for lunch and saved the other half for dinner. As I was traveling to SF for work, I noticed that dining out in SF can be exorbitantly expensive. This place will fill you up without breaking the bank. And the takeout is lightning fast too, just what you’re looking for when you’re tired and hungry. Good selection of Mexican sodas too.

I would give zero stars if possible. We placed an order for delivery at the Hilton Hotel. We placed an order for delivery. And the order was never delivered. When we called to find out what happened they lied and laughed at us. Their customer service was horrible!!!

Decent taqueria in union square… Decent prices, they accept PayPal order or direct pay with your phone via the app. Not the best or worst but fine… FYI — they do not have Wi-Fi, even though Unilocal shows that they do. They do have electric outlets accessible to charge your phone, which is great. I’ve eaten here previously and it seemed better and a large portion. Had the super veggie taco… I’ve had better but it wasn’t terrible… But it’s union square, if only based on your options around here, I’d up this review to four stars… But travel a bit and you’ll get better.

I eat a lot. 2 Super Tacos from this place adds up to $ 8 and gets me full and satisfied. They really pile on the meat, guac, sour cream and pico de gallo. NOM! Taking a star off because the place is a little dirty, has only one Tabasco bottle and the workers there usually seem a little«out of it».

Excellent family run taqueria. Stopped in for a breakfast burrito and had one of the best in years. A good«hole in the wall».

Do not get the chile relleno. Maybe it was an off day, but it was awful. Only giving two stars because I’ve only been here once and am giving them the benefit of the doubt. Literally one of the worst chiles relleno I have ever had. A one star experience. I could not finish eating it. The sauce was basically canned tomato paste and oil.

I ordered a vegetarian mojado(wet burrito) around 8:30 on a Wednesday night. Ah, I was pretty disappointed. The lettuce tasted like it had gone bad and there really was no flavor to the enchilada sauce at all. Also, the tortilla wasn’t good at all. It was super soggy and funky tasting, of course it was covered by a wet sauce, but it still didn’t taste right. I paid $ 10.06 for that thing too! Not worth it and bad overall experience. Although, I will give a shoutout to the super nice employee who gave me a complimentary bag of chips. Thanks. :) Some of the reviews I’m reading on the side as I’m writing this review are totally spot on and match my experience. Overall, definitely stay away from this place. stick to the mission! I’ve only tried one spot in the mission, but it was Mexican food on another level I think I’ve made a rookie mistake having Mexican food in FIDI, as I’ve only just moved to SF! To quote JR. «I can’t quite put my finger on it but both times the food tasted off. Kind of like how if you leave something uncovered in a refrigerator warm it up and eat it. Just weird. Not totally disgusting and inedible, just a little bit funky. Someone else made mention about the cheese quality in their review… maybe that’s it. Funky cheese?» Another, by Joe W. «Staff is friendly and polite, but the food is awful. Let me elaborate… I work down the street from this location. Me and my coworkers are all huge burrito fans and have tried every place that serves a burrito within a mile radius(unfortunately you can’t get Mission quality in FiDi, sad). If you are a fan of cheese then this is NOT the place for you, the quality of cheese they use is a frankly disgusting deli sliced cheese(I’ve worked in Mexican/Tex Mex style restaurants for years and would never try and get away with using something of that quality, but again this is the owners fault not the staff). I am compelled to write this review because I feel physically sick/nauseous after eating my burrito.»

What more could you want for a super burrito other than tasty filling and cheap. Yum.

To be honest, I’ve been to better Mexican restaurants along Mission street but I don’t want to go that far. I pick this Mexican restaurant because it’s the closest and better tasting amongst the rest nearby. I usually get grilled chicken and shredded chicken mini tacos or my all time favorite super baby nachos: grilled chicken, everything on it except no beans, add lettuce, guacamole and sour cream on the side. For me it’s not bad a all. Im a regular here. I’m satisfied with my orders.

We switched up from pizza to burritos one day when ordering lunch for about 27 people on a busy project. I found Taqueria Mana on seamless web, but checked Unilocal to make sure that they were good enough for the crew. I recognized this as the spot that I used to go to after a little FiDi Happy Hour at the Tunnel top, late night. So I processed by order through Seamless Web. I ordered 27 Burritos with Chips. Half Carne Asada, Half Grilled Chicken. placed the order and the delivery was so close to the opening time, I wanted to make sure that they could arrive on time for lunch at12:00 p.m. To be honest, I was worried and then when my boss asked to expedite the lunch. I received a call from Taqueria Mana to confirm my order and was able to bump up the delivery even though they open at 11:00 a.m. and the order window was 11:45 a.m. It was amazing how fast they were. They delivered two bags of burritos and a huge tray of chips and pint sized salsa tubs. Everyone seemed to enjoy the switch up in the work day lunch, although I think I would order the sautéed chicken instead of grilled next time. Great job on the big last minute delivery order. Thank you!

I discovered this place via a PayPal deal. I have to say, at first I was skeptical, the place looks like a hole-in-the-wall right next to the Stockton tunnel. But the food is actually really good! The thing that stood out the most was that they put a lot of meat in their burritos, so you get your money’s worth. The burritos are also a good size.

Terrible delivery experience! Ordered a large lunch order for work at 1130 and food took 2HOURS to arrive even though the seamless confirmation email said it would only take 30 – 45 min. They also appeared to charge my credit card multiple times and even automatically charged a tip for themselves!!! Burritos arrived cold. Didn’t even come with chips/salsa. They ran out of the Snapples we ordered too. Awful customer service and manager said«do you still want the food?» after we had already waited an hour and they hadn’t even started making the order. No one from the restaurant called to say it was going to be late. Since the order was for an office event, everyone was hungry and the food came well after the lunch hour. Zero stars. Negative stars!

Fat tacos. Fat burritos. Simply delicious carne asada everything girlllllll YES! The freshly squeezed orange juice tastes just like when my grandma used to squeeze oranges for OJ for me. It’s a dope spot right underneath Bush St, on Stockton outside of Union Square. I’ve eaten there and have taken out of towners here between 5 – 10 times and never had a complaint.
