The first poster is correct — the courts are not in the best shape. The nets are a little older. The gates don’t close 100%. Occasionally, neighborhood kids(and their dogs) chase your tennis balls… in the middle of the point! But, we must all remember that public tennis courts are not required to be fancy — just functional. The surface is not great, or even good, but it’s functional, and I’ve played on worse. And above the utility factor, these courts have a spectacular view of the Bay Bridge and Downtown SF. Additionally, there is a wall to warm-up against, and two basketball hoops if you’re into that«cross-training» thing. They are also pretty good for kids because there is a new playground located next to the basketball court, which is next to the tennis courts. So give ‘em a shot — and play more tennis*! * I’m trying to do my part on Unilocal by reviewing one of the only topics I know — tennis. Please search my other posts for other courts…

Courts are not in good shape. Lots of crap on the courts, including all this tar in the middle by the net — and the net is too low. However, due to these poor conditions there is no one playing there. They have lights and parking, that saves it from a 0 star rating. Its not like them courts in Menlo Park!
