I found a beautiful leather travel mug for my Aunt from their online store. It shipped really quickly and was the perfect gift! And what is more… the owner Dawn took the time to send me a hand written note thanking me for the purchase. It’s not often you get the feeling that there’s a real person behind an online order. Update: The store owner was very helpful and paid full attention to this case. It turned out to be a computer system bug. And I have already got my money refunded. I may have judged the cashier by mistake. Anyway, always remember to check the receipt. And thanks to Dawn for the considerate investigation. Original post: I went to the store the last night before I left San Francisco and bought a «Golden Gate Bridge Magnet». The cashier was very welcoming and talktive. He kept talking with me all the time when I was paying that magnet($ 4.00). He wrapped the magnet first, put it in a paper bag, and then asked me for the credit card. At the time he swiped the card, he kept talking and told me «OK, $ 4.00». After the receipt printed, he just folded it and put it in the paper bag. I was so stupid I did not check the receipt immediately. When I got back to my hotel, I checked the receipt. It shows two items on that receipt«Golden Gate Bridge Magnet $ 4.00; Bottle opener magnet $ 3.99». WTF?! I paid $ 8 for a $ 4 magnet! It is possible for a cashier to scan the same item twice, BUT it is IMPOSSIBLE for him to scan a totally different stuff. So I just noticed that he was distracting me by keeping talking with me! The next day I had to leave SF in the morning, so I did not have a chance to go back to that awful store and find that cashier.

This store was quite attractive. Once we got our mini donuts this store lured us in. It had a lot of unique stuff, which I love to see on vacation. I even purchased a wooden mini cable car. The customer service was good and the cashier packed it very well for us to travel with it without any problems.

Incredible rude owner! The owner is a old Chinese and 100% unfriendly! We just bought some post cards and paid with banking card. I used the pen on the table to sign directly. The owner started YELLing at me! That’s crazy! He mad at us just because we used that pen without ask him at once. It’s just a normal cheap pen as every stores have. I’ve never met a rude guy like him before! Never! Really ruined the beautiful pier!

First store we hit on Pier 39! Tons and tons of souvenirs to choose from, and personally, I was having a hard time deciding what to get! Got a metal photo frame to hold a pic of my friend and I at the Golden Gate Bridge, and an Italian charm bracelet charm(if anyone still remembers these, LOL) of the Golden Gate bridge. Cute! Fun! Go!
