I was referred to Hearst Corporation for the Elle Magazine. So this is specifically for magazine subscriptions. I was just checking my credit card account on-line and I noticed they had decided to enroll me in automatic renewal without my approval. I never, ever do such a thing as I know companies love to abuse it. Just wanted the magazine for a year – didn’t enjoy it. Never renewed, but the company decided to make more money off me anyways. Please oh please will the federal government ever come down hard on these companies and their slamming methods to gouge the consumer?

So unprofessional and clearly this company is in trouble with their pathetic attempt to collect money they are not owed. Buyer beware their SEO services absolutly suck!!! Nothing happens they have no clue at all what they are doing. Absolutly ridiculas waste of time and money.

Something seems odd when you get a bill in the mail, but there is no phone number to call, just an envelope to send the money in… so go to the website, and still there is not a number available. So I googled«the hearst corporation customer service number» and of course there had been others looking for it too, and i found it. So THAT was taken care of, then to actually CALL was a different story. EVERY single customer rep that answered my calls were RUDE, NONHELPFUL, ARROGANT, and they must have thought they were the CEO the way they were talking to me. I mean I can understand one rude customer rep, but 4 out of the 5 calls? Come on now, i mean you MUST have had some kind of training? Or does the job train you to be assholes? My bill TOCONTINUE service with them was paid back in August, and I have yet to receive my August, September AND October issue, but they can only extend my subscription for two months? Ummm that sounds a lil jacked up to me. Enough with this company, next time I am buying the subscription through Amazon ~ cheaper and MUCH better customer service.
