I love The Journey! I moved to the city a few months back and have tried out a few different churches. After a few Sundays at The Journey, I have decided to make it my church. This is a great church for those who are just trying out church for the first time AND for those who are long-​time Christians.
I love the worship music. If you’re familiar with Hillsong music and other contemporary Christian rock, you’ll recognize a lot of the songs.
Chris, the pastor, is great about email correspondence and he’s very approachable. He’s a talented public speaker and his sermons are relevant, interesting, and he’s always on topic (it’s my pet peeve when pastors go off on tangents!)
The people at The Journey are awesome. I recently joined a small group that meets once a week. I suggest joining a group because you get to meet people and have people to sit with during Sunday services (no one likes to go to church alone!) There are a lot of great opportunities to get plugged in at this church. Check it out!
