I have booked Bjorn’s signature 10 days intensive program. At the beginning I thought 3 hours a day for 10 days in a row is hard to do but time just flies by. Not only We did achieve my primary goal of becoming more flexible, Bjorn managed to cleanse my body and my mind. He treats both your body and soul through massages, awesome resistance stretches paired with some outstanding communication. The program isn’t exactly cheap but I tell you — it’s worth every single penny. After 10 days of working with Bjorn you will be surprised by your new ‘you’. You will be on your feet, deep cleansed and flexible like never before. And I tell you: This guy is strong and every minute of the routine we had great fun. I am totally looking forward to working with Bjorn again when I am back in the US.

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous! My work requires a lot of lifting, moving, etc. so I needed major stretching for my lower back, pecs, etc. Bjorn was wonderful in explaining everything he did, how it worked & why. He gave me stretches I could do at home and at work. He also videotaped my stretches so I can review them later. Bjorn is not only extremely knowledgable and proficient, he has so much positive energy, it is contagious! I feel much better & am learning to better control my posture & movements. Highly Recommend!

No one I’ve come across has as thorough an understand of the human body and physiology as Bjorn! I’ve received stretching, mashing and massage from Bjorn on separate occasions and been extremely pleased with the results. He knows where my problem areas lie and confronts them head-on, whereas far too many bodyworkers move quickly from spot to spot. While my physical body might hate him for a few hours afterwards(which is my fault for allowing tension to build up between visits), the delightfully euphoric mental state he places you under will having you coming back for all your tension-relieving and relaxation needs.

Bjorn has so much to offer anyone who wants to feel better in their body. He has helped me with a nutritional cleanse that was supported by his stretching classes. He is very well trained and can offer support for weekend warriors, seasoned triathlete, or someone looking for more ease in their body. My partner and I took private couples training with Bjorn. Best thing we have done. We can now work on each other when we are feeling tense, tired, and sore. His training style is fun, attentive, and comfortable. One-on-one sessions with Bjorn has provided me with the self-care I was searching for. Deep, gentle, and effective. The work is long lasting and supports my need for balance; physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Bjorn is your answer for repetitive injuries, limited range of motion, and improved sports performance.

As a martial artist, flexibility has always been very important to me. I initially went to Bjorn when I felt I wasn’t achieving my own personal flexibility goals, and I discovered he was one of the few TRUE flexibility trainers in San Francisco, and I believe the ONLY one who practices the Meridian system. I’ve tried many different stretching/flexibility methods over the past decade or so, and nothing has proven as effective with as long-lasting effects as the Meridian system, and that is largely due to Bjorn’s coaching. Bjorn has a really nice, clean studio in his apartment with a nice view of a garden and the city. It gets you in the proper mindset to actually WORK, because this is not just about someone pulling your legs apart while you take a nap. It’s quite physical, and requires a good deal of physical endurance and strength to complete all the exercises. However, you can occasionally take a break and have Bjorn«mash» you, which is essentially the best shiatsu massage from a 200-lb Norweigan man you’ve ever had. I’ve made HUGE progress in my flexibility, but the thing that keeps me coming back as much as anything is that Bjorn is just a SUPER nice guy. He just makes you feel really comfortable and at ease, which is really important as he’s twisting you like a pretzel. He listens really well, and always comes up with new ideas to improve your training. I mostly do privates with Bjorn, but I also coming to his group classes on Wednesdays quite often. It’s always a small group of people, and everyone is just really mellow and fun. I guess he attracts the right kind of clients. ;-) Again, if you’re looking to improve your flexibility and core strength, I can’t recommend Bjorn enough. Excellent trainer and a super great person.

Anything to reduce my stress level is fine by me. This is the place to go. The Wednesday night stretch class from 7 – 8 p.m. is really great! Bjorn takes time to help us into each pose as needed, and the smaller class size makes it really worth going. Price-wise, Bjorn is very affordable!
