I feel so lucky to have found True Harmony Music! My children have taken classes with Lori and Eric and we have absolutely loved it. Lori and Eric are both expert musicians as well as expert teachers. I really appreciate their attention to multiple facets of music — developing the ear and also some of the more«technical» skills like reading music. And, they create a fun classroom atmosphere — so important for kids this age.

I want to give my wholehearted seal of approval for Lori’s classes! My two-year-old son and I have taken classes for the past year and it is always one of the highlights of the week for us! Lori is like a Disney princess(in all the good ways)…always cheerful, animated, beautiful and sings like a dream! She is so warm with the children and parents and keeps the kid’s attention as she seamlessly transitions from one thing to another(that takes skill!) When my son inevitably doesn’t want to give back an instrument or is cranky and let’s everyone know, Lori makes me feel comfortable and like everything is ok. I call music class our«happy place»…big, big two thumbs up!

My little guy LOVES the Cycle of Seasons class with Miss Lori! I really appreciate the individual attention that he receives in class, and Miss Lori’s enthusiasm and love of music is so contagious. I especially appreciate how the content of the class evolves as the kids progress, providing continuity for kids without maddening repetitiveness for parents! Also an exceptionally good value for the price tag. I would HIGHLY recommend this class to all parents of young children.

I can get my way around music(violin, piano, sax, etc). My kindergartner is musically talented(very talented). So when I started looking for classes, I couldn’t decide. I don’t want brain mushing simple, I don’t want academically boring. And I refuse scheduling nightmares. I signed up because it was convenient(free parking, hours to match our schedule). After half of the curriculum(Music makers of the world), I can say that — teacher Eric is AMAZING with the kids, not just as a supervisor, but as a parenting coach, and as a parent(the right balance of fun and discipline). — both teachers are overly qualified, but they are truly reaching out to the children at their level, making it accurate academically, without any boring word, concept or old fashion repetition. — the curriculum surprised me. It’s well organized and thorough, but the teachers are flexible enough to adapt it to the audience(and the mood of the day). — it covers everything from nursery rhymes to the most classical classic pieces, not forgetting pop culture. — the homework ISFUN — and easy. Teacher Eric teaches you weekly all you need to know. Any regret? that I don’t have babies to try to the early childhood classes.

It is amazing to see how a short class on a tuesday afternoon can make such an impact on my 2.5 year old daughter. Tuesday she attended her second class with Lori, who is an excellent teacher, and is already starting to sing along and tries to mimic Ms. Lori. Today as we were walking she started singing the teddy bear song and yesterday she pulled out her book and sticks and pretended like she was singing. Later on I started singing another song and she instantly did the hand motions. I can’t wait to see her evolve musically through the next few years as she learns from someone as talented as the Lori. I also love the parent participation. In our busy lives it is nice to have a short period of time to stop and spend some quality time with my kids. I love watching her as she explores the different things musically, I wish I could have put my older son into something like this when he was her age.
