It’s kind of a unique space, and I love the fountain with criss-crossing streams of water. However, just to warn you, it is quite dirty and can smell like urine most of the time due to the homeless problem that’s rampant in this part of SF. It’s a shame because this could have been very beautiful. You have a really great view to the state Capitol building. Farmer’s market is cute on Sundays.

There are good and bad parts of the UN Plaza Bazaar: Good: Derby & his Waffle Truck stopped me and told me how pretty I would look with powdered sugar all over my black suit. That was a new one. Bad: The homeless woman who hurled a magazine at me and screamed, «Stupid Biy@tch!» To which, I calmly replied, «You’re wrong. I’m not stupid.»

There’s no real address as it just happens where the UN Plaza Farmer’s market does only on weekdays. When I have to take the underground after classes, I have to get off at the civic center stop and walk out the McAllister exit. When you do, you have to walk past these massive tents of baubles. I swear, if there were some dust, and more wrecked facades, and the air was drier, you’d think you stepped into some Middle Eastern bazaaar. On your left you have some Chinese ladies selling religious items in addition to watches, on your right they are selling sunglasses, and all the way down and back you see random things from lighters to scarves. A good look around if you’re interested and in the area. It’s open till I think 5.
