There is nothing worse than a smileless face, nothing worse than a graspless hand, and nothing worse than a bounce less step… Honestly, I like the real deal, none of these plastic, expressionless guys. But given that I like the real ones (patients that is) it’s probably best for me to get some dummy time in first, right? And they are pretty good listeners, they seem to always side with me those lovely little prick pins! There’s something truly beautiful about the mute…
The LRC has everything I need. Helpful experienced nursing students and faculty, about 12 dummies available to catch my mistakes, and very reasonable hours. They are also available to schedule 1:1 appointments.
When it takes you 8 tries to put on sterile gloves, they forgive you. When you knock over some saline, no big deal. And when all you can do is create crowd and awkwardly watch others, they don’t even glare.
Way to go LRC. You’re doing great so far… just get a bigger space. It takes a lot to accommodate this level of klutz.
