Just got my hair cut last night. Only 7 dollars. I showed the man a picture of how I wanted my hair, and he took his time and made sure it was perfect.
Great quality for the price.

Been coming here since my high school days. So around 10 years already. There is 2 barbers. One is the big guy (the main man that everyone requests,) and the other is a woman.
The regulars will automatically go to the man for the haircut, like me. He still remembers me from my high school days at Galileo high school down the block from this place.
This place been around for a very, very long time and the big guy thats been cutting hair here is known as a «master» sort of say in the Chinatown haircut world. The previous Unilocaler was right, he mastered the typical Asian male haircut, the #0 buzz on the side and back with few inches on top. My normal routine.
Just a note, when the big guy cuts your hair, you may feel kind of awkward because he kinda swings your head around and you may feel that he is not «gentle». But guess what?! That is the skills of a true master! He will never hurt you though, he is good at what he does and does it his way, so just sit back and relax and wait for the result before yo start screaming. It’s like one of those things were it dont look good when in the process but the result will totally different.
What more can I ask for? $ 6 for a typical male haircut. Cheapest in the CITY. Or maybe the USA. Too bad I dont live somewhere around Chinatown so therefore I have to drive down here just for a haircut and that gas in driving will offsets my savings in haircut. So therefore I only cut it here when I am in the area or when I am coming here to eat anyways.
Nothing else I can say. This place is a legend in the Chinatown barber world. :)
PS — The sofas in waiting room is so comfortable in here.

This is one of the best salons in Chinatown. I’ve been coming here to get my haircut for so long. My grandma and parents have also came here to get their hair done. Staff members here are knowledgeable, friendly and courteous.

I used to come here a lot when my hair was longer. The man can cut Asian hair (typical buzz cut with a few inches on top) but thats all he knows. For $ 6, its a bargain if you want a normal trim.

If you’re looking for a reasonable priced hair cut, perm, color treatment dye and you’re in the Chinatown area, this is a nice cozy place. Only 3 people run this small salon, but they are fast and efficient. They are also cheaper than most places in the city. Close to Muni bus lines.
Speaking Chinese helps, but they know some English or you can point it out… haha
