Wei Wang

Dr. Wei Wang, specializing in breast cancer oncology came highly recommended to me by several health professionals, and after meeting him, I agree. He is personable, has the expertise, and the compassion. Dr. Wang’s initial reassuring words were that my cancer was treatable, curable, and my chemotherapy would be comfortable. True. At each appointment, he answers any questions. Before infusions, he interviews me, reviews my lab results, heart and lung functioning. From time to time, Dr. Wang gives me reassurances that encouraged me to be patient as the treatments began to have good results.
The infusion nurses, Dana, Johanna, and Fred (now retired) are excellent, warm, compassionate. Kristen Fong, the oncology nurse practitioner is also invaluable in educating me about chemo and any side effects would pass. In addition, everyone in the office are very warm and efficient. LeTrell, the medical assistant takes my blood pressure, temperature, and weighs me before each appointment.
I leave the oncology office with a smile on my face knowing that everyone is there caring for me … and all the other patients.

I highly recommend Dr. Wang and his nurses for oncology care. He’s always very straightforward and answers all questions. He’s very involved in your care and goes over and beyond to meet your needs. He always has a great attitude as he walks into the appointment visit. I feel very reassured to be under his care and wish he could even be my primary care provider!

Best oncologist for breast cancer at CPMC. He’s patient, very compassionate. He takes his time to help you understand and doesn’t try to give you percentage because everyone is different. He’s straightfoward. Remember to do the research it helps even the doctors can’t tell you everything. He keeps up-​to-​date with new clinical drugs. His staff is great and Cindy, his office assistant is wonderful. Nurses there are great, friendly and helpful. His treatment area is cozy.
