It’s such a delight on Saturday evening!

If you’re a liberal intellectual who likes ten-​minute interviews with authors, off-​the-​beaten-​track musicians, and perhaps a dash of the truly zany, you’ll love West Coast Live. The atmosphere is laid back, the venues are always cozy, and the shows are fresh every time. You’ll be amazed at how fun attending a radio show in person is. Armed with a coffee and a treat from a local café, it’s the perfect way to start a Saturday morning. I’m more than thrilled to support these folks with my $ 20 every week. A truly rare find!

This takes you back to the old days of radio (not that I was actually around during the old days of radio but one can imagine). West Coast Live is a live 2-​hour variety show. On any given Saturday there will be authors, musicians and maybe a comedian or two. The show is masterfully hosted by the clever and funny Sedge Thomas and his comic foil (also the house pianist) Mike Greensill. It’s a fun way to spend a Saturday morning, especially with visiting relatives who’ve already been to Fisherman’s Wharf and Alcatraz. Tickets are only $ 15.
