My aunt showed me this place. Prices are affordable. Great food. The people working there are very nice. They have the best tomato beef chow mein!

Standard steam tray items. The lady behind the counter was friendly. Opted to take out 2 items w rice or noodles. Went with sweet/sour pork and some spicy chicken w bell peppers both pretty good. They let you put the food in the to go box rather than them don’t for you. I guess as long as it fits in the container they don’t care how much you scoop in. Was 6.95 for a huge takeout box. Pretty nice deal

This place is a solid bona fide joint, its dingy and mildly off putting décor are somehow charming and reminiscent of simpler less gluten free times. Like other reviewers pointed out the food can be hit or miss depending on what’s ordered. I’ve actually not had the buffet but have opted instead for their breakfast omelets and hotcakes. I can’t say I’ve ever been disappointed but I’ve never been mind blown either. The service however I cannot say one negative thing about, everyone treats you like family and you can see that they treat everyone well. I appreciate that and reward that with 4 stars.

So this place is next to work and I come here often. They are fast. Take out takes 10 mins max. The food can vary day to day. Sometimes food tastes better one day than the other. The portions are decent, however, prices went up a few times. Not so much a bargain as before and I’m BIG on value. Still decent. Oh, I’ve only tried the AYCE once because I’m a little too old to be stuffing my face. I think it’s like $ 8.95? That’s pretty good value if you can eat a lot.

Bad view, high prices, unpleasant soup. Felt bad the night after having a dinner there. Wouldn’t recommend.

Back for seconds. This place has the best deal for Chinese food. Not five stars in appearance. But, seven stars for cheap price and good taste. I will definitely come back. Parking lot next to the joint. Don’t worry about a line. Lastly, excellent costumer service … Always with a smile.

Wok-In is awesome! I come here for their scrambled eggs with shrimp over rice and especially their wonton soup. They are my go to for any of the wonton soup — delicious broth! Not the most convenient location, but I still go if I have a hankering. If you go here for their lunch buffet — you will be satisfied! My work colleagues introduced me to this place and I’ve been a regular of theirs for lunch and or breakfast & lunch! The owners are super awesome and friendly. I would like to try everything on their menu!

I love Wokin! The owner is super nice! The food is always good and it is my family’s go to Chinese restaurant. It is also a good value. The family meal deal plus a crispy noodle and rice can feed our family of 7 easily with leftovers enough for everyone’s lunch. It is awesome and yummy.

This place looks a(poorly) converted warehouse. I feel kinda bad leaving this review because the woman behind the counter was so nice, but this place is just grease and flies. I seriously thought about turning around and leaving when I saw what was on display at the lunch buffet.

Definitely not a date spot, but if you want a quick and filling lunch for darn good price($ 7.50 including tax), their lunch buffet will do the job. Located in an industrial area, they appeal mostly to working people in that area. They offer a good selection of meat dishes for buffet, including very authentic«beef tendon stew» seasoned with five spices. Pour it over rice, and that in itself is worth the price. Easy to park. You can also order from the kitchen, and they appear to have a good selection.

Did a search on my Iphone for a quick bite before having to jump in a boat to paddle in a relay race at Islais Creek Channel dock. The Wok In Cafeteria is directly down the street in the opposite direction. Grungy looking non descript business park in sketchy India Basin. All the standard breakfast items and Chinese lunch specials(I think the price was $ 5 for two items) friendly quick service, EXCELLENT food. Great way to fuel up next year for the Wavechaser Relay from Berkeley to Redwood City!

Really nice people and decent buffet selection for lunch and cheap! But… the Chinese food wasn’t that good. I’ll go back and try the breakfast though.

Excellent service. This is basic American and Chinese food place. They have a pretty good lunch deal for take out $ 5.00 for two items plus fried rice/chow mein/rice noodles. For $ 6.95 you can go for the lunch buffet. Many items. I haven’t tried it but I had two take out items I tried, chicken and green beans and fried fish were pretty good. The folks behind the counter are very friendly. Breakfasts aren’t bad. They have eggs, toast, hash browns, pancakes etc.

I discovered this place randomly one day and within a time span of approximately 8 months, I eat here at least 2 – 3 times a week. It’s convenient for me because it’s only a 3 minute drive to my work and another big plus for me is that they accept credit cards. The main lady, Michelle, is very nice and will always remember your face whenever you return. The lunch buffet is definitely worth since it’s only $ 7(not including a drink). I usually order different plates when I go there just to try new things. My favorites are the Mongolian Beef Chow Fun, Sesame Chicken, and the Tomato Beef Fried Noodle. If you like spicy food, you’ll love their Mongolian Beef. If you’re ever craving something specific that isn’t even on the menu, Michelle will gladly customize whatever you want. I would starve or be broke if it wasn’t for this place. Another plus is that they close at 9pm, which is great for those who work late on some nights and need some food.
