Dr. Sherman Wong at Blue Cross Pet Hospital is the best veterinarian, ever.
Gentle and caring, Dr. Wong tends to be conservative in treatment, not recommending crazy tests and invasive procedures. His fees are beyond reasonable, too. You’ll never have to worry he’ll pad his bill suggesting exotic and pricey tests your pet probably doesn’t need.
Over the 20 years Dr. Wong has been my cats’ vet, he’s kept them in immaculate health and given me peace of mind when they were sick and I brought them in, worried and tearful.
And, a touching story: Dr. Wong offered to drive — after hours– from his home on the Peninsula to euthanize my dying cat. My cat sadly died a few minutes’ later making his trip unnecessary. But that this kind vet offered to ease his suffering and my inconsolable sadness speaks volumes to his caring nature.
I don’t think he even billed me for the last visit nor my cat’s cremation. Fourteen years later, I’ll never forget those kindnesses.
There is no better vet than Dr. Wong. While he’s hired capable new partners to take over his practice when he fully retires — he only works mornings now– there is only one Dr. Wong; he’s one of a kind.
