They had two main dishes on the menu to order. Got the cheese steak and the very meat was burnt and on a cheap roll. Fries were below average. Couldn’t even eat my meal. Not a good experience.

I feel bad giving any place 1 star… So I’ll give them 2. Found this place on Unilocal because we were walking around super bowl city and realized we were hungry. Already knowing they would be busy because of the amount of people there we went in with an open mind. Don’t bother trying to order any kind of salad today. It’s not available. Don’t bother trying to get a fountain drink, it’s out of order. Don’t drink too much Tea, the bathrooms are out of order too. Our burgers were ok. But the bread seemed old it fell apart quickly. But either way we have food in our bellies and we’re ready to go back and explore what Super bowl city has in store for us

Came into San Francisco for the weekend and were blown away by the food here! Great burgers and chicken sandwiches. I had the Caribbean chicken, one hint don’t get the palm hearts they added a sour note to my chicken which I wasn’t a fan of. I also had to add salt, pepper, mayo and mustard to bring in some flavor to the chicken. The burgers are seasoned well!

I always wanted to come here. It’s an easy place. Not really a burger place as the name suggests. They have a variety of foods. Food is fresh and tasty — nothing fancy or different. I actually liked my turkey burger-topped salad just fine. I believe its owned by Oasis Grill.

Was hungry and didnt want to eat at the hyatt where i was staying. Saw this place out of my window. Got the breakfast wrap. $ 9.87 out the door. Wrap was pretty much tasteless. Only until you put ketchup or hot sauce or got to the spicy jack cheese did the flavor come through. Eat here only on a pinch.

Wrong salad with rancid tasting oil in the vinaigrette.

Overpriced and mediocre. Expect to pay $ 10 for just a burger, $ 4 for fries and $ 3 for a soda. All told with taxes, $ 20 per person. The food is nothing special at that price. My burger was overcooked. The garlic fries were ok. $ 3 for a 20 oz. drink is robbery. This place is ok if you just hit into town and are starving, as we were. It’s across from the Hyatt Regency and right of the Embarcadero complex so it’s centrally located and appears to do a lot of foot traffic. Otherwise, there are far better places within walking distance.

I came here with two of my friends the other day. We weren’t sure where we were originally going to eat, but when it started pouring down rain in San Francisco we Unilocaled the closest places to eat around us with the best reviews. We hurried into Ziggy’s to keep warm and were greeted quickly by one of the people working there. It was really empty when we arrived, probably because we arrived at an off hour. Thank goodness they were still open since many of the other places were already closed until dinner time. Ziggy’s had a lot of seating options available which was nice as well as a TV or two to watch sports games on. It took us a while to decide what to order since there were so many options. I ordered the South of the Border burger which was absolutely delicious. It was a little spicy which is just what I wanted since it was a cold day. I also had some fries which were delicious and some onion rings which were just as good. The fries were crunchy and the onion rings had just enough batter on it without it being too much. The food was delicious and the service was great.

Glad we came regardless of the mixed reviews with 3.5 stars. Ahi and Standard were fabulous. Had the Chimichuri steak sandwich and I loved it. Fish and chips were great as well. Food was fresh, tasted great, fast and affordable.

So yummy! The turkey burger with homemade BBQ sauce is delicious! The pickles that are served on the side — tasted homemade — were so good!

Not like best burger I ever had, but definitely in top 5 burgers at this price point. Toasted buns, great sauce, fresh crisp ingredients, two large tomato slices(!) I’m so glad I stopped in. Got the standard burger, $ 8.50

first timer! Got a Ziggy’s standard burger with Swiss cheese and it was delicious. Everything tasted fresh. They seem to have a vast menu full of salads, burgers and sandwiches. Place was spacious and clean. I also opted for garlic fries and I must say one of the best fries I’ve ever had and I’m picky with fries. Happy that they offer Harris Ranch halal beef patties. Not sure if their chicken options are halal. The staff was really friendly despite us coming near closing time, I’ll definitely be back for more!

Overall — I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked the food here. Standard burger — very tasty, good sauce, good bun. I really enjoyed this burger. Cheese steak sandwich — I loved this. My husband liked it and he loves these kinds of sandwiches, but I think I liked it more than he did. He ended up pouring the spicy ranch dressing on, which was also very yummy. Try it. Sweet potato fries — loved them. Ranch dressing is spicy, the Caesar dressing is very good, tasted more like a bacon/ranch to me but I really liked it. The lemon oregano dressing was too overbearing. Didn’t enjoy that salad dressing at all.

I took a vegetarian burger, it was not home made, but still they changed me like one… 10 $for precooked burger is too much. But I love local business that can survive in a big city, so go here and not to the Mc…

Meant to give this place a review a very long time ago. I went here on New Years with some friends, drunk as hell, but hungry. They were extremely packed and busy, and also only serving cheeseburgers. Well we got s cheeseburger meal and it was amazing! I’m not only saying this because I was drunk lol I came back again sober for the same thing and was not disappointed. I would try something else on the menu next time I’m around, but you cNt go wrong with a cheeseburger.

I find it tough to give 5 stars to any burger place but Ziggy’s is pretty dam tasty. I’ve been here a couple times and I must say I can always appreciate high end burger joints that offer options that are typically not available. They have everything from hot dogs to baklava. The best thing I’ve had here so far is the lamb burger… Absolutely delightful!!! I suggest trying the lamb burger at least once if you’re grabbing a few drinks downtown. The Ahi tuna burger was quite enjoyable as well. As I said before it’s very satisfying to have other options than a simple cheeseburger and Ziggy’s takes full advantage of that. The burgers have always been cooked well and served hot. The fries on the side are pretty tasty as well. The location is awesome. It’s only half a block from the embarcadero so there’s a great view of the water and bridge just a few steps away. Do yourself a favor and give Ziggy’s a try.

Stopped here to buy my daughter a burger after she disliked what she ordered in a different place earlier. The line to cashier moved fast, but we had to wait way too long for her simple hamburger order. One star less. After a long wait the quality of the hamburger she got was only a little more than the fast food usual burger, nothing special at the cost of around 10 bucks… less one more star. They didn’t ask how she wants it cooked and served it very well done annoying, but maybe it’s our fault we didn’t tell them how we want it cooked. Last but not least the table was disgustingly sticky, less one star.

Holy Ziggy! Now these guys have a fairly decent burger! I walked in at the right time on a weekday afternoon. About 1:30pm, with less of a lunch crowd. The dining area looked fairly clean, so my coworker and I decided to eat in. Ordered a Ziggy’s Standard Burger($ 8.50) with a beef patty, ziggy’s house sauce, fresh curly lettuce, tomato, red onion, and pickles. Choice of cheese, I chose jack. You can even substitute your beef patty with chicken, turkey, or even black bean for free. Since I’ve never been here, I stuck with the beef from Harris Ranch. Now, this was a pretty comparable burger. The bun seemed a bit familiar, kinda like a FuddRucker bun. But the meat and melted cheese were surprisingly quite luscious, as was munching on a few dills. Now this isn’t the greatest burger I’ve ever had, but also not the worst. It was pretty clean for what it’s worth. Even better when I added some curly fries($ 4). No real issue with service, but also no real interaction as well. They’ve got a lot on their menu so expect to pay between $ 9 to $ 15, and that’s without a drink. Overall, A-OK like Unilocal says!

For those that look for«halal», this is your go to spot for a burger in fidi. While it’s on the pricier side for a burger and fries-$ 13, it adds an interesting Mediterranean flavor to burgers. There was a slight hint of mustard and the sweet pickle on the side was a nice touch. I’d have to say that I loved the bun the most. The bread was soft and delectable.
