Not worth the price. Go to AU79 next door instead. Their boba is nice and chewy and they’re a legit tea house. My rose milk tea tasted fine at first then had a really gross aftertaste, like they didnt rinse their blender before making my drink so there was other stuff mixed in.

Was thirsty and didn’t want to drive far for boba and this place was convenient after grocery shopping. My boba was so water down and nasty I had to toss it out. Didn’t want to bother complaining since the drink was cheap. I hung around just to wind down to figure out what my next errand and then I witnessed the owner himself CURSE at a lady with her child and the poor child was crying!!! Are you kidding me?! How are you even able to run a business with this kind of service and esp to a mother and child?! You have no heart and probably do not have a family of your own. You’re only surviving because of that supermarket. Otherwise I guarantee that no one will ever drive to your run down filthy store with such nasty customer service! Due to the way you treated a customer, I’m never even gonna bother even you a penny!

One of the only places in my area that actually serves Durian smoothie. For $ 2.99, I’d go back any day. They use real fruit and the smell and taste of it is just amazing!

I come here often due to conveniencey and cheaper prices for boba drinks. Their boba milk teas are pretty good, possibly overly sweet. Nearly half the menu seems to never be available or in stock, like papaya flavor etc. the sugar cane drink was awful. I saw them grind up a sugar cane but the drink came out tasteless then tasted salty. Barely any sweet or sugar cane flavor. Couldn’t even finish the drink. I’d recommend their milk teas only if sweeter than average is your preference.

This is place is horrible. I ordered black tea no sweet. I received black tea pure sweet. Asked if they can add more water or tea and the worker said no because she already made it and I drank a sip.

I agree with Karen C., The smoothies are great! The Avocado smoothie is one of the best I’ve had compared to other places.(There aren’t too many places that have it anyway). And NOT overly sweet. They have more choices of drinks too! I also like the fact that I could pay, get my drink & go! Especially if you’re in a hurry; It’s quick! It’ s set up that way. The bobas are better then a lot of other places I’ve tried. They ARE soft & chewy. The other reviewers must have caught them on an «off day».(Every store sometimes has a «bad day», right?).

My sister got me a large boba milk tea from here today. I drank half of it, and tossed it. The milk tea itself is sweet, like really sweet. I’ve got a sweet tooth so I was actually okay with it, but if you’re not a fan of sweetened milk tea, don’t bother coming here. The boba here sucked. Felt like I was chewing aged gum from the bottom of school desks. I just strained out the boba and drank part of the milk tea.

If you’re expecting some fancy boba places like Half and Half or Tastea, then this place isn’t for you. It’s inside an Asian grocery store. Small and simple. This shop is more of «let’s pick up a quick boba and go grocery shopping» type of store. CASHONLY. I really like their Honey Green Milk Tea! Get a large for less than $ 3.

I’ve had boba tea and the taro drink here, and they were extremely average. However, what I do like(and deserves the extra star I gave it) is the yogurt. It’s really smooth and fresh. If you like Vietnamese yogurt, I recommend that you try it.

It’s just a shop that takes up a small space in San Gabriel Superstore, but the boba milk tea is very good. The flan is the best I know. Also, try the branch in Westminster Superstore.

I was in San Gabriel today(4÷13÷2011) and stopped by SG supermarket to buy some Jasmine tea. Been in this store several times now because my boss told me the Dim Sum. Place is huge. Well as i was walking out, i noticed the Boba Corner. Got myself a yogurt green tea and it was good and the price was what i like. Had the same drink at one of those other places in rowland heights and it was double the cost and not that sweet. Thank you!

Brought a few drink here. Boba was hard and not chewy. The milk tea wasn’t was yuck. The taro was water down and the jelly passion fruit was barely ok. The service was bad. If you see a customer waiting to order you should put down your phone and attend to my order. Drinks took awhile to make.

paid $ 3 for a small lavender milk tea without boba. it’s pretty bad. i like the taste of the lavender, it isn’t too strong. but their milk tea is not good. nothing in this superstore seems to be good.

The name of this place speaks for its reputation. «Boba Corner». The true meaning of its name is trapping their customer to a high price dead end corner. With no pricing on their menu. This place named their price after you placed your order. Also, in Chinese — ««, means more like«Many Cash for a Cup». At a food court like location, they’re selling $ 3.50 for a cup of green tea that taste super sweet, I had to throw it away after my 1st sip. Too bad Unilocal don’t have a negative rating, cuz I don’t think they deserve 1 star at all.

In the SG Superstore. Next to the locksmith. Cheap boba($ 2.25) at a cup. But as previous reviews suggest, the staff here is a bit casual about the ordering process. They got the order wrong, but the drink was pretty decent. Conclusion: Cheap boba that tastes fine.

Located inside the San Gabriel Superstore and Cash Only! I went here recently because I had a craving for an Avocado Smoothie. So sweet and creamy! Its pretty hard to find an Avocado Smoothie in regular Boba shops, they usually have milk teas and more«normal» types of fruit like strawberry or peach. To get an Avocado Smoothie you usually have to go to Vietnamese place to get it. Another favorite to get is the Durian Smoothie! I am one of the weirdos who love the taste of durian. If you don’t know what it is I don’t recommend trying it… its a «pungent» fruit. Yeah… the story about people evacuating a building because they thought there was a gas leak, but was really a couple of people opening up a durian is true! Hehe thats how bad/good it is! =) getting back to the smoothies this places uses real fruit and my friend Jenny Y. says real condensed milk. You can’t get that taste with powdered flavor! Totally worth the $ 3 – 4 for a large. Saves money too because you can get the taste of the fruit with out investing in an entire one, and also saves you from the hassle of opening up one. The large and spiky fruit would make good catapult ammo!
