Budget Inn

Nice clean and affordable place. Rooms have a fridge and microwave, which is great. They recently upgraded some of the furniture and it looks nice. The AC worked great. It was super hot outside and it was nice to have such a powerful AC. Will definitely come again

It’s an older motel so don’t expect the Ritz, but if you just need a place to lay your head down & relax after a long day out & about in the Los Angeles area, this place was great. Conveniently located near freeway on & off ramps. Excellent accommodations for the frugal and those on a super tight budget. Our rooms were clean & the king-​size beds were very comfortable. Shower water pressure was good. Housecleaning lady was very nice & accommodating. Fridge, microwave, cable TV & WiFi were very useful during our 11 day stay. A/​C unit worked great. 24hr Carl’s Jr conveniently next door, as well as nearby gas stations, banks & specialty grocery stores (asian). You can also find several Mexican «food trucks» servicing the area. But be warned: the lines get pretty long, fast, as cars just pull over because it smells so good :) Husband & Wife motel management were cordial and also accommodating. Hotel property seemed safe & secure with their surveillance cameras. If you do decide to choose this Budget Inn, be sure to visit the nearby historic San Gabriel Mission and town. A true gem in the area :)

I would give this place a zero rate if I could — but I can’t.
This place is not even worth the $ 45-​$ 50 even if you’re on a tight budget.
1^st of all, this place is not clean. When you first walk into the room, there’s this sour smell and the blankets are ripped… and doesn’t even look like it’s been washed. The carpet is all stained and the bathroom looks so worn down.
2^nd of all, the towels given to us still had stains on it… brown and red. That’s so unsanitary. They wouldn’t give us enough towels for us to use. And there was mold in the microwave.
3^rd of all, they say there’s free wifi — but it’s like there is no wifi.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: THE COSTUMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. The lady asked for a $ 5 deposit for a key card and didn’t give us back a receipt. When we asked nicely for a receipt to ensure we’ll get our deposit back she just gave us helluh attitude being like just bring the card back.
BAD LOCATION. The walls are paper thin, you hear everything that’s going on outside. And since it’s right next to highway… there was so much noise.

It’s Midnight and the A/​C has been running since 4pm and it’s still 86 degrees inside my room,

Not the place to go even if you’re on a tight budget.
