We used to always come here for special occasions, but my last experience was horrible there. I usually dont complain much about a place unless the service was really bad. Last time, we came for a bday party and the business was slow. We were in a room where theres food and ktv and we overheard the girls saying we were annoying and giving us shitty face just because we asked for stuffs. We had cake with us too and out of all the beer houses we been to, this is the first one that they made u light the candles yourself and basically do nothin except to help u put it in the fridge n take it out for u. Totally dont deserved the gratuity at all. Disappointed with their service and not looking to go back anymore.

The restaurant just came out with a new menu, not bad there’s several dishes I reaally are delicious but ot all depends on your taste and style of Chinese food you prefer. It just got a new Menu very impressive and they make it easy cuz they got pics of the dishes. They sell cold beer and got Karaōke KTTV cool too both in front and back, so after a nice dinner you can either enjoy singing and drinking or both. And, in five years FTS Security does it’s best to meet and greet and make customers feel Comfortable and Safe!..:)

This is the most disgusting restaurant I’ve ever been to. Nothing is worth to try! They have a long list of BBQ dishes on their menu, but none of them is BBQ! They are fried! We ordered lamb and others, but they all were tasted as they were in refrigerator for decades. I was here before, although last time their food was not fresh, they had good taste. But this time nothing is good! I would rather to starve to die than come back!

This DNA is okay. It’s basically a beer garden with a dance floor along with karaōke rooms in the back of the building. I don’t really feel comfortable going to this place. The arrangement of the this place is very awkward. When you walk in, you see tables and might be greeted. Then as you walk in further, you’ll see more tables and benches, then if you go all the way in… as in going to the restroom… there is a dance floor and K-TV rooms. So weird! The décor is a bit weird too. The tables and benches are all wooden, and I can’t really figure out what their theme is inside. The food is okay. But I did enjoy the fried pork intestines(Taiwanese style), and their simmering spicy stewed chicken is good too. But we basically drank beer there and just hung out. The other time I was there, we sat in the K-TV room. We drank beer and took shots of Grey Goose. I had a good time with friends as we all talked about nothing but was still able to laugh. The dance floor was a bit on the empty side. The music was blasting, but nobody was dancing. Oh, and there was also a couple of Go-Go dancers rocking out with the songs being played trying to bring in the energy. I thought that was cool… but unfortunately it was not happening. I honestly think this place is nice. But it could be better if they moved to another location, or at least remodel the whole place by making it more attractive. Or they should just focus on it being a restaurant/lounge, than rather it being a club or Karaōke place. Something is just not right there… and I hope the owners takes care of their business before it busts. Good luck to them though!

This place was horrible and I will never ever visit again. My family and I went for dinner because we were starving and boiling point was packed. We should’ve walked out right away. We were given the food menu along with the full drink menu. We tried ordering 2of their 40 or so teas and were told they only had coconut and one other. ok no thanks. They had a soda machine so we tried ordering.. Sorry we only have coke and sprite. wtf? Ok. I ordered house special hot pot. I was told it was a beef hot pot and when it was brought out it had all kinds of sea food. I complained and the waitress said«you asked if it was beef and yea there is beef inside». Smh. We also ordered fried shrimp and a soup was brought out. Argued with waitress a bit. Googled a picture of fried shrimp. She still didn’t see the problem. Over all, don’t go there for dinner!!!

Chinese Style BBQ is very different from rest of the world. It is the seasoning making the taste magic. I traveled around China for years and got chance to taste various local BBQs from different regions. The BBQ they had in this restaurant was not close to any of them. Well, let’s take a step back. I guess there were many disappointments during my last visit made the food taste not so good: 1) Restaurant Settings: This place has dining area, Kareoke rooms, and a dance club lounge all in one. Sure — it is good to have all kinds of entertainments in one place. But it is good when the place is big enough. The Karaōke noise constantly bothered dinners. Smell of the BBQ constantly bothered dance floor people. It was a mess. 2) Drink on job policy: Many dinners witnessed their waitress drink on job. A waitress took a glass of beer and drink with people at the table and in the Karaōke room. This is a deal breaker move. I don’t care if there is a law on this. If I were the owner, I wouldn’t be willing to take the risk. 3) Staff training: dressing less will attract customers eyeballs but it didnt mean quality customer service. The waitresses will need more training on how to manage the customer better, smile more, and learn how to earn high tips by doing better job. 4) Taste of the food: as I mentioned in the beginning, the taste was not as good I expected. But the concept was good. Most of the items are pricy — can’t blame too much due to the hot spot location. There is a lot of room for the taste to get better. It is achievable. However, the other three areas need immediate attention from the management. I will not return to this restaurant for its status quo. I hope there will be a real Chinese BBQ place soon that can put this restaurant in competition mode, and eventually grow better.

This place used to be «Fisherman’s Wharf» and it’s the front of Area DNA(terrible«club»). We were trying out a couple of lamb kebab places and I had read about 818’s move/opening in Life Plaza. OMG, I should’ve walked out the second I walked in. The smell was horrendous. We ended up ordering 4 lamb kebabs for $ 6.99, which is a rip-off. The kebabs were almost inedible. My bf had to spit out a part that he couldn’t chew through. These were the worst lamb kebabs ever. The free water we got had a bunch of weird floaters in it. I would totally avoid this place at all cost.
