I spent hours hauling bags of recyclables. came to Evolution and it turns out they only accept recyclables with CRV. so I had to take the wine bottles and other bottles that they don’t accept to a dumpster. I only made around $ 10 when I usually make more going to other recycling centers. Although the guys that were working there were really helpful I wouldn’t really recommend if you are looking to maximize your profits.

Too many people on here complaining about this site. They pay top dollar for cans, plastics and glass. No wine bottles are accepted though. They take recyclables in bulk which is much better for me since I recycle 2 – 3 times a year. Located in a private lot, they are really hidden. Hours are good and people shouldn’t complain if they take a long lunch. I doubt any people can do what they do and take only a 30 minute lunch break.

I went there at 12:16PM on Tuesday. It was closed though the sign says their lunch hours are from 12:30 to 1:00. I really envy those who work there, who can pick their work hours or maybe even work days, and come and go as they please.

I’ve been coming to Evolution Recycling for about 6 years. I started coming here when they were located in the parking lot of Hows Market off of Huntington Drive. Unlike some places where one needs to have complete uncrushed cans, so the bar code can be scanned, at Evolution one can bring crushed cans. Today they were paying $ 1.65 a pound for cans.

It pays to recycle! Operating Hours: 930am to 430pm From Mondays to Saturdays As long as you’re recycling items that has the CACRV printed on there, they will take it. Been coming to these guys for years. They were originally located at the HOWS Parking lot in Arcadia until they closed down the supermarket and kicked them out of there. I actually like this location better and the parking is theirs and not having to share it with HOWS and the other stores inside the plaza. You come there — get the mesh tins for the plastics and soda cans and the garbage cans for the glasses(brown glass are separate and the green and clear ones can go together). They’ll check your recyclables to make sure you’re not putting anything in there that doesn’t list CACRV. One star off: It would have been nice if they open at 9am instead of 930am. Though sometimes they do open 15mins ahead if they see two customers that are already there.
