Follow up to original post. Typewriter was repaired within 3 business days and saved me money opposed to buying a reconditioned machine at twice the cost of repair. Thankful the owner dug deep through his network of suppliers to find the most economically priced logic board which my machine needed. Highly recommend this shop and I have always found parking right in front. Will certainly patronize this business as long as it exists.

This took a while for me to post, nevertheless, this small shop is just oh so great! I hardly ever write reviews on Unilocal,but I just had such a pleasant time dealing with this particular repair shop.
Typewriter repair shop?! I mean who else uses this stuff? Except for the hipsters and solid collectors? This is definitely thee spot! The owner was honest and straight to the point. He could’ve charged me for a new ribbon, but instead insisted on just is if my old one and rolling the ribbon there instead. Turn around time was just 3 days! He cleaned my Remington typewriter inside and out and replaced the ribbon at a very reasonable price!
Don’t be scared or hesitate to call him and set an appointment. Oh by the way, he’s very lenient with his pricing too! I will definitely come back for other keyboard repairs and restoration!
