This is a long overdue review for this wonderful salon. I have been coming here for 4 years, and certainly the price can’t be beat. $ 8 for a cut, and only $ 2 more for added wash, blow dry and styling. That’s how I stumbled upon it in the first place. Yes, I am cheap. Given the slew of other discount barber shops the area, L&C really stands out well. It is clean and obviously renovated, but even more than its nice appearance and host of care products is the service. The sisters Cindy and Dina are more than just competent, and I have never walked away feeling bad about my haircut. Cindy, who definitely runs the show, is quicker and appears to do the more complicated work. Finally, the straight razor shave that comes with every cut really completes the polished look. They are also kid-friendly and have no problem taking care of children’s needs. The only gripe I have is that it’s not as well a kept secret as I would like it to be. The wait can be long on weekends, but it’s never horrific(I have waited more than an hour without air-conditioning in other el-cheapo places). I just wish it was closer to where I live. I will be a continued frequent patron for the foreseeable future.

Cheap prices… you get what you pay for, which isn’t always true! This is a really nice salon, but i couldn’t even get a plain and simple even layering. One side of my hair looks awesome, but the other side she chopped off way too much hair or layered a huge chunk and it so does not look right, but of course she blow dried it and curled it inwards and i didn’t notice it until the next day after i washed my hair and it dried up naturally. Don’t think i’ll be coming back here anymore!

Been coming here for quite a while now. The prices are decent and no appointments are necessary. Sometimes there is a wait but if you’re curious if it’s a good time to come just call Cuc and ask. Cuc doesn’t speak much English but if you explain it in simple terms then your point will get across. The place is also pretty clean with nice décor. Parking can be difficult at times since it’s also located near Master Wong’s Foot Clinic. This is not a place to get the perfect haircut but it’ll do if you don’t want to spend too much. Sometimes the hair is uneven but it’s not necessarily noticeable. Nonetheless, this is my place to go to since we’re always treated well and she knows how I want my hair cut.

Since I am always in the bay or in LA, I have trouble looking for a place to cut my hair. I drove around town and found this little place. It is run by Vietnamese people and are pretty nice. They are a bit fobby but the place is well decorate and looks pretty modern. They apparently just opened a month or two ago. My hair cut came out pretty decent. No real big problems. My hair is pretty easy to cut. They did however, make one side a bit off, but most don’t even notice it. I notice it only because I stared at it for a while and noticed it after a long time. It was however really cheap. My hair cut was only $ 10. Which also was a shampoo. If you only did a cut, it would be $ 8 for males. Females was about $ 12 or something. I can’t quite remember anymore. They actually gave me a bottle of moose, and asked me to let my friends know of the place.
