Went in looking for an entry level range hood. The cheapest one is $ 280. The next one up is $ 400 + $ 40 for installation. Also compared prices at PacAir & San Yang Pai. I like PacAir, but the cheapest one is still pricer than its competitors. Plus, the aesthetics of the range hood was so-so. San Yang Pai’s entry level one wasn’t to my liking. Thought it looked ugly & tacky(Sorry if there were any fans out there). On with the salesperson. PacAir’s salesman was attentive. Actually, he wouldn’t leave(even after I said«thank you» numerous times and that we would like to look around ourselves). Sakura’s salesman explain a lot in detail. Except he(assuming it was Daniel) was busy helping a couple that stepped in just before us. The saleswoman, Sharon was busy on the phone(and I could tell she wasn’t on the phone with a customer). Waited a good 15 mins or so before she came out. Hence, the minus star. San Yang Pai’s saleswoman was annoying. Yes, I know she’s a salesperson-that is what she does/it’s her job to make a sale. The thing is she only cares about making a sale. Can be pushy… a bit of hard sell. Why does Asian salespeople always make a hard sell? Soft selling might go further… just saying. Anyways, overall, the transaction was smooth. Installation was smooth as well. I forgot I have a old duct I could have used. End up having Daniel(I think that was him– didn’t ask for his name) put in a new one. Cost an extra $ 15. All in all, I would recommend their service & product. Used Sakura range hood a long time ago. Honestly, all three brands have pretty good/high«cfm“s compared to Broan or Nu Tone.
