1.5 oz cuts of fabulous cheese. Happy hour $ 2 popcorn with rosemary and parmesan is a steal. Friendly staff. What’s not to like here? Enjoyed the tap Albarino and the Point Reyes Blue, which complemented the Humbolt Fog delightfully.

Food and Wine = 5 stars Service = 1 star Therefore the average of 3 stars We came in on Thursday night with 11 women. We had made reservations which was very good. The waitress came up to me and asked what I wanted. I ordered 1 carafe of wine and 3 glasses. She came back with my order 5 — 10 min later but didn’t ask what anyone else wanted. If we asked for one more glass, she left and came back much later. Everytime she came to our table, she took ONE order, and then was gone FOREVER. The Popcorn was AMAZING!!! The cheese and meat plate was really good. I will go back and try this place again, but if the service doesn’t improve, I’m not sure if it will be a third time or not.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. My gf and daughter came in after strolling through downtown and our mood was immediately killed. We came in stood at the front for a few minutes thinking we were to wait to be seated but after about 5 minutes decided to find a seat(which I was ok with). Once we sat down we sat here for another 10 mins while the«staff» tended to a whole 5 people sitting at the bar! Oh how busy they were! Once we were finally acknowledged(12 mins later) we ordered. It took almost 15 mins for them to bring out the cheese. I gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking they were carefully preparing our order and staging them in such a fancy way that I would just be astounded! It was hacked with what looks like a letter opener and tossed on an ikea plate. I won’t come back here. If you want cheese and prosciutto with a cocktail do yourself a favor(save some money) and go to Safeway. I’m not a chef, restaurant owner or expert but at least have your presentation of food look better than what anyone of us «non-experts» could have done at home after a long night of drinking. For crying out loud all you offer is cheese and some meats! It won’t take long to cut and stage so maybe take some more time and put more effort into it. Don’t just hack and slash it and toss it on a plate. If you do(which most people and I certainly don’t mind), don’t make me wait almost 20 mins because then our imagination kicks in and we feel like we are dining at a 10 star, fancy, $ 2,000 a plate establishment.

I love it here. Beer and Wine selection is pretty good along with the food. During happy hour, you can’t go wrong with the $ 2 truffle popcorn. Salads are great and the cheese options are decent as well. The employees are also very friendly which improves to the overall atmosphere.

I have been here a few times, and failed to realize what a chic magnet of a spot this place is. It had to be a 7:1 ratio up in that B! Easy to find, perfect lighting and a wonderful beer selection. Be warned though, you will pay for a taste. So don’t go in with the plan of sampling 5 — 10% ABVs and getting hams for free. On a nice day grab a picnic table out back to enjoy the weather and bring your pooch. This place is beer drinker, wine drinker, cheese and meat loving, dog friendly.

Dropped in waiting for traffic to die down. HH is a decent deal had the flatbread with pâté hummus cheese and artichoke hearts. Enough for a meal. Draft wines $ 2 off. Still $ 8 for a glass. Good service. Nice selection of draft beers.

ambience is so-so, food is weak, beer/wine/cheese is good.

Only been here once and it was nice. Cool décor and decent menu — nice that there’s food, not just wine and beer. Service was standard.

Absolutely love this place. By far one of my favorite wine bars in San Jose and surrounding areas. Staff is awesome, the food is good, and the wine list is spectacular. PS– go on Tuesday night for trivia! It’s a lot of fun

Came here for a quick happy hour. The had an extensive HH menu as well as wines on tap! It was half full and the noise level was moderate. Looking for a place to grab a drink before dinner, or on a date– this is your place! Great décor and nice staff.

Cheese bar in the South Bay? Heck yeah! 20Twenty Cheese Bar has a fantastic range of cheeses and charcuterie, and an equally impressive range of wines and beers. You can buy cheeses and meats individually or you can buy them in 3 or 6 item courses, which are both chef’s choice for cheeses and meats. The 3 item course comes with two cheeses and one meat while the 6 item course comes with four cheeses and two meats, and both courses are accompanied by fresh fruit, spiced nuts, baby pickles, and fig chutney. Buying the premade courses is not only a better deal in terms of how much food you get for your money, but is also good for people who either don’t know much about cheese and different types of meats and would need recommendations anyways or for people like me who want to eat all the cheeses and need someone else to reign them in. And who better to reign you in than the chefs themselves, am I right? I ended up ordering the 3 item course cheese plate, and the restaurant was very accommodating to my food preferences, and substituted the meat with another cheese. The three cheeses that came on the cheese board were truffle brie, humboldt fog goat cheese, and oakdale aged gouda — the gouda and the truffle brie were the original two cheeses for the dish and the goat cheese substituted the meat. I loved all three cheeses, with the goat cheese being my favorite, simply because goat cheese is my favorite cheese to begin with. All three cheeses were rich, creamy, and fresh, and they all paired nicely with the bread, fig jam, and other items on the cheese board. I would definitely recommend pairing the cheese plate with a wine flight because wine and cheese, duh! I was also impressed by how accommodating the restaurant was in still serving us food even after the kitchen closed. We arrived an hour before closing time, not knowing that they close the kitchen an hour before closing time, but they still seated us and served us when many other restaurants would not have. The only thing I was not a fan of was the décor of the restaurant. The restaurant is a fair size inside but it doesn’t feel like it because I don’t think the space has been used properly. It felt dark, crowded(even though there were hardly any people inside), and gloomy inside the restaurant — and not to mention the air conditioning was blasting inside, yikes! We decided to eat outside on the back patio, which had a much better vibe but we felt awkward sitting there because the back patio is at the entrance to an apartment building, so we constantly saw people coming in and out of the building, and we could also smell laundry since we assumed the laundry facilities were right near the entrance as well. It felt like we were intruding on the residents, and this can be easily fixed by putting up a partition of some sort so that the residents and the patrons have their privacy.

Within walking distance of us, 20twenty will likely become our new weekend afternoon ritual. If you just want a light snack, the cheese and charcuterie plate are perfect. as is the popcorn. For more substantial appetites the panini is excellent and you can round it out with a great salad. Lovely wines by the glass and an up to date, adventurous selection of beer. Terrific service, clean, casual atmosphere… Nothing but love for 20twenty.

This place has become one of my favorite hangouts in Willow glen! They have a great selection of beers that are on a rotating schedule so about every week you have a chance to try something new. The cheeses they offer are top notch and it has just an all around cool and inviting vibe. An oasis of down to earth friendliness in what is quickly becoming a town filled with over priced restaurants that are better suited for serving up pretension then they are hospitality. After reading the one, two and three star reviews I feel that i should point something out. If you are a wine snob, beer snob, Cheese Snob are broke and expect five star service for your two star attitude. Then this is not the place for you.

It’s worth mentioning that I am partial to any place that features Humboldt Fog as a recommended cheese. HF deliciousness aside, this place is solid. I originally came for the cheese. I left with the knowledge that this place had great beer on tap, that they employ grade A staff lineup, and that wood palettes make for good pendant décor. The menu is a tad pricey, and I wish that it went beyond the conventional charcuterie lineup. All in all a Willow Glen location should not mean the death of culinary creativity. But the bar is a good place to catch a game, and the patio seating makes a summer afternoon spent imbibing more than worth it.

I’ve been hearing about this place since it opened months ago, from women in the local Junior League… among other things, they said this place is the best happy hour type place in downtown Willow Glen and how much something like this has been needed in this area. They were right! I can’t believe it took so long for me to try it. Downtown Willow Glen is lacking non-retaurant locations(outside of our one gastropub!) This is the perfect spot for drinks and light bites! They have 20 beers and 20 wines on tap, along with bottle selections of both(and a 50% off beer by the bottle to go, at the moment!) Prices are standard for the area and selection is mostly local(that’s my only somewhat complaint… can I get some French wine up in here?!) The staff is so friendly and informed on their menu. I can’t wait to go back and just chat with them, and also maybe a girls paint night, and try the beer pairings! ^‿^

A nice wine bar but slightly overpriced. I think it’s great to have this place open in Willow Glenn. The service is great and the wines we tasted so far are good as well. We tried their popcorn with herbs, truffle oil and cheese. It was absolutely delicious! We also like the newly added ‘crate ceiling’ decorations. It would be great if the opening times were longer, especially Friday through Sunday(closing at 7 on a Sunday doesn’t make sense to me at all).

I’m going to make this one quick and simple. Great large selection of wines and beers, that they change out regularly. Pretty nice staff. Very clean restaurant. I really like their whole décor that they have going for them. They have a really nice outdoor patio in the back, it even has a TV back there. What was really great was that they had a selection of foods and sandwiches along with the cheeses meats and the little things to go on your cheese plate. All of which were delicious. I highly recommend the popcorn and the pear compote. The only downside is that it’s kind of expensive. Definitely more than I would’ve liked to spend just for a little bit of cheese and popcorn and wine, but it’s a nice treat once in a blue moon. Another downside is that they close early, at 11 in the kitchen closes at 10 o’clock.

Really nice place. We were worried about what would replace our dear departed Grapevine, which had always been a lovely destination for us. 20twenty is all set to take Grapevine’s place in our picky little hearts. Just a few more non-California wines on the list, and they’re there. Our delightful server(proprietor?) promised us this would be happening. Can’t wait to revisit and update to five stars. Meanwhile, the atmosphere was friendly and happy. Easy enough to sit in a window nook if the TV’s not your thing. The food was truly lovely. The 3-piece sampler with two great, different cheeses and a huge pile of shaved, delicious prosciutto, plus fig jam, and fruit, and bread, was as fabulous as it sounds — maybe even a bit better than it sounds. Wish I had that in front or me right now. The bulgur and kale salad provided some very tasty, hearty, healthy ballast for our several glasses of wine, and the gooey melted cheese sandwich was decadently delicious.

What a disappointment. My husband & I popped in for a quick glass of wine for me & a cold craft beer for him. I can safely say that neither of us were all that impressed with this neighborhood bar. Sadly, their wine list isn’t very good & way overpriced(as previously mentioned). Not to sound like a wine snob, but when serving decent wine, glassware without a lip is always preferred. Not to mention, stemless wine glasses for white wine seems all wrong. Who wants warm wine? Maybe I’m just being a stickler. My husband thought the beer list was nice at least. I took a peek at the cheese list & call me crazy but two small cheese selections + a meat for $ 21 seems a bit high priced. As far as the ambiance goes, the place is sparsely decorated yet modern. I just could not get past the family of gnats flying around our window seating. I think I spent a good ten minutes trying to shoo them away. The only positive thing I can report was our very funny server. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be back unless things drastically change with the wine list & prices.

I never wen to the former Grapevine. It’s converted to 20twenty which is wine, beer ad cheese. Right now theyre not fully open, but theyre selling a lot of wine for 50% off. It’s mostly California, other American and a smattering of foreign offerings. In a couple weeks theyll have beer on tap, bottles and ceese selections in tow. Got a bottle of mourvedre for a friend. Definitely will return when it’s a fully operational…
