My team visits this cafeteria often because we work across the street and it’s a quick lunch. We try not to visit on days where it’s «488 prepared» because it’s not really good for the price you’re paying. I’ve tried their sandwiches before and they’re just mediocre, the salad bar is mediocre, even the vendors they bring in are mediocre(but on some days better than regular food). I would suggest you visit their website to see what they’re serving that day– although it’s highly unreliable.(I’ve been tricked many times.) I usually take a picture of the calendar they have up every month. The days with Dim Sum or La Bamba are typically better.

Considering this is a office cafeteria, I’d give it a 4 star. There are usually quite some options here. Grill, Asian food, salad bar, and the deli section. I usually go for the deli to make my own sandwiches and wraps(posted quite some pictures). It’s reasonably priced too, $ 4.99 for a sandwich or $ 5.99 including a side of salad/fruit cup. It’s a decent office cafeteria overall.

This is such a great cafeteria in downtown san jose! They have this really cool rotation of guest restaurants each day that allow you to enjoy something new all at great quality and pretty decent prices. You can find their menu online on their website as it changes each week. My only negative to this place is that effectively stops serving all these great food after 2pm, make sense since most people in the downtown offices will be heading home by 5pm, but that cut in service hours just makes me not give them that 5th star for availability. Beyond that, you should really stop by and enjoy this place!

Love this cafeteria. I fist thought it would be too small for the high-rise traffic, but it’s just right. Food is tasty and changes with«Guest Chefs». I have yet to eat something I don’t like here.

It’s ok, but they need to bring back the toasted paninis!!! They were sooo good!!! Avoid dim sum day!!! :P

The burgers are undersized, and although I ordered my fries extra crispy, they were served limp. The grilled ham and cheese is decent and the staff is very friendly.

Good food if your expecting cafeteria food. If you are thinking restaurant food, then meh. Got the cheeseburger, which was good, no complaints. The fries that came with it though were under cooked and mushy, which was disappointing because I watched the chef cook them pretty much just for me. There were not a lot of people either so he had time to get it right. I’d go back, but I’d definitely tell them to cook the fries all the way next time.

They pinged me back to say they have art on the walls coming — and sure enough, it’s there. I love the fact they responded to me, and have a white board where people write their comments and suggestions about the menu. It’s a happy place to eat, and now that they have outdoor seating you can enjoy the California weather with healthy, reasonably priced food. As corporate food places go, what more can a girl home for? PLUSBAREFOOTROASTERSDEDICATEDSUPPLY. I used to joke about people and their Barefoot Roasters obsession, but The Boss is just that — espresso at its finest. BRB, getting an espresso…

They specialize in local, fresh and sustainable foods. They offer fresh items for both Breakfast and Lunch on a daily basis and offer catering to the surrounding area as well as those in the building.
