Do not use this company. It took them 2 months just to get my microwave fixed. Now a month and half later the microwave is no longer working. Great!
I give their service line a call. And all I hear from the service rep. is «You need to make another service request with American home shield» which I tell them I don’t have service with them anymore. As soon as the rep. hears that she says «there is nothing we can do». I’ll tell you what this company can go do…

TERRIBLE customer service — both the office staff and the actual service tech. We had a tech come out four (4) times. He obviously didn’t know what he was doing as he had to call for assistance and kept ordering new parts – saying he had to return after he got that part. After the 4^th visit and no phone call of when he would return (did a no-​show) we decided 2 months was long enough. We went to a competent repair company and they fixed the problem on the first visit. More than the tech, the non-​responsiveness of the person who answers the phone is beyond poor. If I treated my customers with this respect, I know I would be fired. VERY DISAPPOINTING.. . There are better appliance repair places out there, and I would avoid this company for sure!. A GO is a no-​go!!!

The Russian Guy who repaired my Washer was really helpful and very good at figuring out the problem of my washer. He just ordered for the parts that was needed and as soon as the parts arrived it only took him less than an hour to install it and have my washer work like it was before. He even helpful to give an extra hand for me to re-​stack my Washer and Dryer and hauled it back to its tight space. Thank you and I would really recommend this company if you have problems with your washer as per my experience with them.

Really disappointed with the service tech that came out to service my Wolf stove. He was a terrible communicator and didn’t even notice the light turn off on my stove while he was here. Total waste of time with no progress on my issue.

Okay so I’m gonna have to go through the whole story. The situation started off pretty grim. However if you know me, I’m ALL about customer service and follow up and follow through. Even if there was a mistake — were human. It happens.
So…when we had the guy come out to fix our fridge — very nice guy. He was trying to get to some hard to reach places in the fridge to fix the ice maker and well… ended up not fixing it and when he left… the fridge started having more issues.
Of course being irate of no fridge… I called to get help. Immediately Arthur assisted me. He actually walked me through everything and helped me get a brand new replacement which we love.
Arthur was very responsive every part of the way and he ended up really helping us out. If you use them, make sure you work with Arthur.

This company is utterly incompetent. It appears to be a scam. I have requested Jenn Air to stop referring consumers to them. The contractors license number listed by them does not exist in the State Contractor’s License Board data base. Nor does any company with this name. I have filed a complaint with the Contractors Licensing Board. Do not go anywhere near this company

Not the happiest camper. We found this company through our home warranty company. They answered a service call quickly and sent someone out to fix various problems w various appliance, but the technician spoke such horrible english that I am not sure what he was saying. Hence, getting the repairs I needed done became problematic. Many repairs calls later, very little has actually gotten fixed. The serviceman is really not very proficient in his work although it seems like he is trying hard. It has been a hassle and time suck to work with this company, therefore, I cannot recommend their services.

A Go did a great job when I called them to fix my dish washer that was one year old and just one month past the warranty. Maytag would not do anything to fix the problem and I thought I was going to have to buy another $ 700 dishwasher. These guys had really good prices (I shopped around a bit) and they arrived the next day and fixed the dishwasher with a $ 28.00 fuse. Total bill was $ 99.00. They were professional and fast.

Long overdue review. Two employees came out in September 2015. They seemed confused about what part they needed, arguing a bit about it and basically scratching their heads on what it could be. I was then told the part to my dryer would take at least a month to receive! When I asked questions he tried to give me a ‘lesson’ on how these things work. They then proceeded to go out on my driveway and stand there and smoke before they got in their van and left. I called another company (writing their review next), and told him what the problem was. He said it may take a day, maybe two to get the part but it would be no problem. He came out the following day, had the part on his truck and was on his merry way. He stated the part I needed was pretty standard, my dryer was a newer model and standard and could be picked up at a number of places locally. He was the friendliest nice man. I would call him for any of my appliances in the future.
I did not contact A Go Home Appliance Repair. They were sent by our warranty company, Assurant. I contacted Assurant, sent them a letter expressing our disappointment and canceled the warranty contract. I canceled on my credit card and they did not challenge it.

My manufacture warranty says they don’t cover the issue on my dryer. Not heating enough to dry off all the clothes. They said it’s fine. I called A Go Home and they sent someone out same day. The repair man had a heavy accent but repaired it within 40 minutes. They only charged me $ 80. I’d recommend them.

These guys are great! They came out on a Saturday morning and fixed my fridge on the first attempt. They were even nice enough to tighten the loose soap dispenser on my dishwasher for no extra charge. Marcos was great and very knowledgeable. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Really poor service from these people. The guy came out, gave me an estimate, said he would order the part and be back. Sadly he did come back. Installed the new part but broke another part, which would be okay if he would have told me and we would deal with it. But the day after he left I tried to load my dishes and the entire top rack fell off. A part he wasn’t even repairing. I called him directly and their office for about a week. The owner basically said oh well, wait till we can get someone out there, not sure when that’ll be. So now I’m out an extra $ 300 repairing the part he broke. How rude!

Don’t ever use this place. RUDE and INEFFECTIVE!
I scheduled them to fix my dishwasher.
A gentleman came out and took a look and then scheduled himself to come back a week later with the ordered parts. The diagnosis was that the water was not spraying with enough pressure. He ordered two new water dispensers fro the appliance. When he arrived, he also told me that he had ordered a new soap dispenser but I told him that wasn’t broken and not to replace it.
An hour later I came to check on him and he said he was done and had also installed the soap dispenser at a considerable cost to me. I explained that I didn’t need that and he said it was already installed so I paid for it. He gave me his number and told me to calm with any problems.
An hour after he left, I went to laid my dishwasher and the top rack (a problem that never existed before) fell out. I place multiple calls to him and the company with no reply. Three days later I finally got someone at the office to answer my call. He tried to push off my repair (which they caused for 5 more days) I asked him to find someone else to send and he said he wouldn’t do that. I asked to speak to the owner and he said he was the owner. I told him that he ran a very bad business and that this job needs to be completed and he told me that he’s had enough of me.
DO NOT EVER USE THESE PEOPLE!

I don’t understand why there are two A Go Home Appliance Repair pages on Unilocal.The other one has 20 reviews with an average of 1.5 stars. Even tho the phone number for the company that came to my house is this one, my experience is in line with all the complaints on the other page.
The repairman called me before he arrived, and he spoke to me in Russian. Seriously, WTF? I said, «Are you telling me you don’t speak English?» He said, «I am Russian.» I said, «I’m not, and I don’t understand anything you just said.» I was able to piece together what he said, which was that he would arrive in 30 minutes.
While I was waiting for him to arrive, I googled the company. Since the home warranty company sent them, I had no choice in service companies. They have 20 Unilocal reviews with a total of 1.5 stars! Now I know, first hand, why. The guy came into my house enveloped in a dense cloud of BO. Seriously. I told him what I thought the problem could be with my washer, based on online research I’d done. He ignored me. He called his boss (I’m assuming that’s who it was), and they spoke Russian to each other for a full 5 minutes.
After he hung up, he picked up a screwdriver and started pushing it into the rubber seal around the front of the washer. I said, «STOP!» He ignored me. I got in his face and yelled, «STOP!!» He asked what the problem was. I said, «The problem is that you have no idea what the problem is or how to fix it.» He said he could fix it, anyway. I said, «No. We’re done here. I want you out of my house. NOW.» He was kinda stunned for a minute, then he said he needed to fill out the invoice. I told him to do it in his car, that I wanted him gone NOW.
So he went to his car and sat in my driveway for 30 minutes. His company called me twice. The first time, I let it go to the machine. The second time, I answered. A lady said one of her repairmen was at my house to fix my washer. I told her I sent him on his way because he didn’t know what he was doing. I told her about his sticking his screwdriver into the rubber gasket, and I asked what kind of moron does that? She apologized and told me to have a nice day.
I called the home warranty company and gave them a full rundown on this loser company. At this point, it’s worth it to me to call a repairman from Angie’s List. In all the years I’ve used them, not once have I had a bad experience.
I can honestly say I’ve never had a worse experience with any type of repair service. I would never allow them into my house again, nor would I recommend them to *anyone*. I can only imagine what kind of damage this guy could have done to my washer had I not been watching him.

I can’t say enough great things about this company. I had a fridge in my rental property that was just over a year old that stopped cooling, my manufactur warranty would not cover the repairs. Luckily AGO had fair prices and was able to get it working in no time and I kept my renters happy. The tech they sent was knowledgable and very informative and even showed my tenants and I a few things to do to help prevent other failures. Will be calling them for all my repairs.

My insurance called these guys when my washing machine broke. They were cool, did their jobs, cleaned up after themselves and even called a while before they got there to let me know they were on the way. Washer seems to be working just fine since. Thanks guys!

Absolutely HORRENDOUS customer service! Move on to another appliance repair company in your Unilocal search. Did not keep the appointment they set up — nor did they notify us that they would be late. Just made excuses when confronted about their customer service, and actually thought that we would reschedule with them! Haha!

I have this old fridge in my apartment, instead of my landlord replacing it when it stopped working, he called these repair guys to come fix it, but they ended up being pretty cool and easy to work with. They gave me a specific time to be there and showed up when they were supposed to. Turns out the fridge has something called a compressor, and it was low on freon like your a/​c in the car. He brought all the gadgets and gizmos, charged it up works fantastic.

I was out of warranty and Kitchen Aid told me to call A Go Home Appliance Repair, they are authorized and certified for all Kitchen Aid Appliances. I called them and set up an appointment. They came and diagnosed my fridge pretty quickly. Told me it needed a drain tube. He had one in his toolbag. He said he read the notes I provided to the women I made the appt with and came to a diagnosis before even seeing the refrigerater. The technician seemed like a very smart guy, who knew what he was doing, but most importantly he was professional. Oleg was his name. Good Service. My fridge is working fantastic now.

Terrible service. They will not keep the appointments they make, they won’t bother to call you when they can’t keep the appointment. There are other companies to use who actually care and will keep their appointment.
