Had a fiberglass french door replaced in my home. Multiple issues with ADP. All avoidable.
The day before the agreed installation, I called ADP to find out when the installer would be there. I should have not had to call them to find out. The sales person took that opportunity to tell me there were no screens for the sidelights. After thinking about it, I called back & told them I didn’t want the install until they could do the job completely. The sidelights are the only window openings in the room & they’re used every day in the summer.
2^nd issue was the screens were about ½″ too small in both the vertical and horizontal dimensions. Since they’re tall, the rails of the screens were bowed when the screen was put in, so they were in an hour glass shape. The metal screen frames were stark white, not oiled bronze as I had specified for the door hardware. The rest of the door hardware was the correct color.
Lastly, the grooves in the door frame that the screens fit in didn’t have flat bottoms, so they weren’t deep enough & the screen fasteners (4 metal horizontal posts) fit too close to the edge of the frame, where the holes for them immediately tore out, rendering them useless.
In short, there was absolutely no attention to detail on this job and the workmanship on the door frame was poor. ADP claimed the screens were made by a 3^rd party that «didn’t pay their workers very well». Hmmm. I didn’t contract a door installation with their 3^rd party screen maker, I contracted with ADP. For a nominal credit for the screens, I made my own. Correct size, correct color, correct fastener system.
I can’t recommend.
