What I liked about the owner, Elena, is that she can work with the specific needs of the customer, and she can lead a project start to finish. I bought a small, somewhat ran down studio. Not only did I want to maximize the use of space as much as possible but make it into a modern and stylish pad. She came up with an amazing remodeling plan. By rearanging a wall and enlarging a window, not only did the living area become bright, more spacious, and open, but at the same time I got a walk in closet, a laundry room, and a very ergonomic kitchen design, with a double use area. We then discussed my materials, furniture, and style preferences to come up with a finishing plan. Elena introduced me to her suppliers and we visited several show rooms to pick stone, tiles, paint, etc. She consulted me not only on current design trends but also on longevity and value of various materials. Once the design and finish were finalized she introduced me to her contractor, who gave me a reasonable quote among several others that came for evaluation. I ended up going with him, which was a great choice, as he was fast, clean, efficient, and performed a quality job. Throughout the construction she supervised the progress and made corrections as necessary. I can wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking to make renovations to their home.
