Have a gift card from Armadillo Willy’s and called to try to find the balance on the card. they pretended like they couldn’t hear me and when I called them on that he said he could tell me what the balance was because my gift card wasn’t there. I said I could give him the number and that I would prefer to be able to check the balance on line but there was no place to check it. He said I can do that. I said I have the number I just need to know the balance. He refused to help me. With customer service like that on the phone I can’t imagine going there to eat. The last time I went there I was not pleased either. Customer service I do not believe is there strong point.

This is was my first Armadillo Willies, and will not be my last. Beer and a rack of ribs doesn’t get any better at this hot spot. Must have is the cornbread with the sensational cinnamon butter!

First time trying this place and had Such a bad experience. Food was cold, burnt and not flavorful as BBQ should be. When walking in manager gave us a long list of what they DIDNT have however cashier said otherwise. Never coming here again.

Came for some ribs for Friday night dinner. While waiting in line we were told there are no baby back ribs and there is only on register open, only Texas ribs and they thanked us for waiting. That’s fine, i really just wanted Texas ribs. Waited 10 mins to order and after ordering and confirmiumy order they tell me they have no more Texas ribs and they offer me a burger. I told them i wanted ribs and that if i wanted a burger id go to in and out across the street. So here i am at in and out getting burgers. Step it up. A rib place ahould have ribs. 2 stars cause at least they were polite.

Yesterday I ordered (take out) of a pound of brisket to make sandwiches during the week. When I opened the container what I saw was too disgusting to eat. Basically blubber, charred blubber and a bit of meat. I sent a picture of it to C. Winslow, the manager for the evening, but he didn’t respond. He asked me if I ordered it lean or fat. I told him I wasn’t given the choice when I placed the order. Never again.

Ordered the Belly Buster Platter with spicy peanut slaw and beans for take out. I was the only person in line. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food, except for the slaw, was good, if pricey.
The spicy peanut slaw was disappointing — dry and very little flavor/​seasoning. The ribs were not fall off the bone, but adequate and not overly slathered in sauce which is good. They supplied plenty of extra BBQ sauce.

Today was our first time to a Armadillo Willy’s, we ate lunch at the Blossom Hill store. Texas Ribs tasted good and the cornbread and beans were yummy. Really too bad we both have horrible food poisoning. My husband is REALLY sick, been on the bathroom floor for hours now.

The Bbq is good but too pricey for the amount you get. Fries are always extra and you are charged a premium for them. Since when are potatoes made of gold. I’m really tired of bbq joints over charging because the meat is smoked. It’s not a steak house, it’s BBQ.

Nicolle, You terrible excuse of an employee – You just blew a $ 20 tip but worst, Armadillo Willies just lost a customer. I asked you for a little extra barbecue sauce for my $ 83 order and as if I was bothering you, you said go over there and get it yourself, Well, This is why people call ahead to get it ready to go-​instead I spent another five dollars on A bottle of barbecue sauce… Never will I walk into this Armadillo Willies… I could understand if you were busy but you were not.

½ priced burgers on Saturdays will blow you away in terms of quality of food you will receive. Juicy and thick burgers, fresh produce, BACON and AVOCADO… pure awesomeness.
BTW, do you know how much a quarter pounder is at McDonalds?
Any of the other locations also run the same promotion.
But that’s not the only reason why you should frequent Armadillo Willy’s.
Their BBQ is one of the best around in the South Bay.

I have been to this location several times now and the food is definitely good.
I usually order their ultimate hickory BBQ burger and boy is it good. I have also ordered a «flat iron» boca burger, which is also very good.
I took one star off because it’s kind of on the pricey side for burgers, which is what I always get here.
I am not sure what all the complaints are about, someone was even nit-​picky enough to complain that they have plastic cups? WTF??? Armadillo Willy’s has many locations and I have not been to a bad one yet. I will be back.

I have loved Armadillo Willy’s for years as a cheap way to get a little hometown nostalgia when I miss Texas. But oh, the quality has been on the decline. Nothing too special, but not bad, either.
Then we went in tonight, and they’d jacked the prices, AND cut the quantity of food they give you for each dish. I can’t believe that after years of reducing the quality of the food, they’ve decided the solution is to raise prices and give you less food on each plate.
I hate giving this place a bad review, because the staff is always so sweet. But, alas, this time the management really earned it.

Nice staff they tried to guide us through their ½ full menu. Plenty of seats.
Ran out of a lot of food. Ended up with chicken and pulled pork. Both were dry. The corn side dish was good and the cole slaw was good.

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. You ever leave a place thinking to yourself, «Why?». I shoulda known better than to think this place has changed any since I was last here many years ago. It hasn’t. I walked in got crappy barbeque my family couldn’t eat then laughed comparing the «chili» I received versus the nice picture they have displayed. This place is small crowded and hectic. It’s the crappy fast food of local bbq. We will never return hopefully you don’t make the same mistake i did.

So I came to this BBQ joint, as a first timer, and didn’t order BBQ!
WHO DOES THAT!?!
Well, i came here on a Wednesday, and they had a two taco plate special going, so i thought id try it. It was two fish tacos, served with salsa and a side of black beans. It was 7.95 $ and i thought it was an amazing deal.
The staff was very accommodating and friendly. You order your food, get your sauces and drinks, and take a seat until your buzzer goes off. Once it goes off you go and grab your food, take a seat and enjoy. Right after getting our food, the manager came over to ask how everything was and asked if we needed anything. He was very kind.
The food was delicious and a rather large portion. They serve all the meals on a tin cooking sheet, which i absolutely love!!!
Id come back again, so I can try the BBQ. But the fish tacos were really good! and fresh!
