Their food is pretty good. The boba and drinks are very affordable. But the best part is their amazing service. I would definitely come again!

Always enjoy their drinks and service… Mango Passionfruit with popping passionfruit or guava boba. I think this is a family run business. Super friendly plus free wifi here too…

Boba Pub is located in a small strip mall(I don’t even know if you can call it that) across the street from Branham High. It definitely caters to the high school crowd, very cool feeling. Purple plush booths, hip hop music, young staff. Menu is standard American boba fare: boba drinks, tea, a few appetizers. They also have a couple meals. You can combine any two fruits to make your slushie. I had the coconut/strawberry. Husband had the strawberry/banana. I thought mine was better. He thought his was better. I know that he knows that mine was better. The boba slushie drinks(labeled smoothies on the menu) are too blended for my liking. Also had the calamari, very good. I’d visit again but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

I’ve been here a few times and each visit was good! The milk tea, fruit tea, and food is pretty good(not wow amazing). My sister and I have had the thai milk tea, mango passionfruit fruit tea, and strawberry passionfruit fruit tea, and the matcha milk tea(which I really loved). The fruit teas are a little sweet for me personally, but are still good. The garlic fries and chicken strips are delicious! Customer service was nice and greet you right away, and the drinks/food come pretty quick! My go to place when I’m craving milk tea and it’s a plus cause it’s the closest to my house and has free Wifi. I’ll be back!

The two drinks my friend and I shared was sooo bomb! She got the Strawberry Avalon, which was like a white chocolate covered strawberry smoothie with boba. I got the strawberry peach fuze tea and it was the perfect blend between tea and flavor. Definitely coming here again. The woman at the cashier was really helpful and patience with my indecisiveness.

I first came to Boba Pub when it first opened. I wasn’t particularly impressed by their menu or by any of their drinks but this place definitely grew on me. They don’t serve drinks in the actually pub-like things anymore since they kept breaking apparently. I’ve been here probably a handful of times when I’ve had a boba craving and didn’t want to drive all the way to east San Jose or to Cupertino where major of the boba shops are. They have nice Internet if you want to study and stay and also some games on the side of the store for playing. It can get hot in the summer since they don’t really turn on the air conditioner. The location is ideal next to Branham High School. I won’t shine praise on this place and say that it has some extremely high quality tea, boba or taste either. But it does a good job on the classics and fruity drinks, which I highly suggest. Sometimes it can be a hit or miss depending on whose working but overall, their quality has improved, advanced and adapted since they’ve opened into a boba place that I would definitely stop by for a quick fix. Welcome to the boba game, Boba Pub!

Word on the street that this place made mixed alcoholic drinks with boba which is why my friends and I were very excited to come. Unfortunately to our surprise because the place recently had a change in ownership the mixed drinks were discontinued, and they only served boba. The boba drink was average, but the décor of the restaurant was literally falling apart, the employees where no where to be found after some time, and they had many buckets of water catching leaks from the ceiling. Won’t be going out of my way to return here again…

Imagine intensely craving for popcorn chicken, only to be disappointed and tossing away the rest of the order. That’s what I felt when I came through to Boba Pub. I’ve had this place Bookmarked for the longest time because I’m a boba fanatic and I HAVE to have my boba when I crave it… and this place isn’t too far from work. I decided to finally check out this joint because I looked up «popcorn chicken» on Unilocal, and this was the first place listed. I came in around noon and it was completely empty. I stared at the menu for a while, and decided to go with an order of popcorn chicken and thai tea with a scoop of ice cream. I waited not too long for my order to come out and it was brought directly to me. My thai tea came first. I wanted to understand what the deal was with adding a scoop of ice cream, so I went out on a limb to try it. I shook up my drink and stuck my straw through it. I didn’t really taste a difference between having just a regular ol’ thai tea, and having ice cream in there… if anything it probably made the drink creamier? Not too long after my popcorn chicken came out. It was a fairly generous size. However, when I opened up the box… it was disappointing. I was expecting that delicious oily mess that you get at typical boba places. instead I got americanized popcorn chicken. sprinkled with the chili flavoring you’d typically find in the asian popcorn chicken. I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt, because… never judge a book by its cover right? I ate a couple of pieces and started to realize that I didn’t know whether or not I was eating batter or if there was really chicken in it… so I decided to break open the pieces… and to my surprise, there was little to no meat in there. it was just a lot, A LOT of breading. I started taking excess breading off the pieces of chicken I was eating, but then I just gave up and threw the rest of the order away. They didn’t even have the sweet chili sauce :(instead I was just given ketchup… but I guess what can I expect of a boba place that is not in a predominantly Asian Neighborhood? I’ll just keep to my East Side boba and popcorn chicken.

I am a cheesburger loving, black t-shirt everyday wearin’, Pantera blasting in the standard Honda civic listenin’ kinda person and though I like sweets, I’ve never really been the type to throw on that black tee, crank up the rock ‘n’ roll, pass the burger joint and head straight for a Boba tea. However, this place has AWESOME Boba, a huge and unique menu and the best Boba including coconut jelly and my personal favorite… that’s right… rainbow jelly! \m/\m/ My girlfriend brought me here once and ever since, it’s till my fav! I do go with her to some surrounding good ones, but this one rocks my world. Also, the dudes that work there are a damn riot! Not the usual quiet, somewhat awkward presence I get from these places most of the time. Thanks Boba Pub, one big cheesy thumbs up to you!

When I came home for the holidays I was on a huge boba rush, and thus coming here became a part of the plan. DRINKS — $ 4ish for jasmine milk tea with boba and coconut jelly? I’m in! Lots of add ins though including lychee jelly, pudding, etc. Fruit smoothies and coffees available too. FOOD — You can get your tummy full here from their phở, noodle or rice options. SPACE — This may be the biggest space I’ve seen for a boba shop! I’m sure it’ll accommodate all the kids coming from the high school nearby. Games available too but there will be some missing pieces… oh well! Come for the boba. Overall, very satisfied with the drinks and warm service here! Thank you, Boba Pub!

My husband and I both teach nearby, and we love coming here after school because you get a pretty tall drink for a very reasonable price. However, one has to beat the local high schoolers OR you will wait a long time! My favorite drink here is the Black Tea with egg pudding, and my husband likes the Matcha Milk Tea with egg pudding. They do use a powder to make their drinks, though, so it’s not as fresh as some other places. But again, the price is lower than those places. The atmosphere is nice and clean, and the customer service is good. They are on the Five Stars reward plan, so if you come here enough, it’s not long before you earn a free drink. The only disadvantage is that parking is limited out back.

What a cute little peril drink bar! Such nice atmosphere very welcoming and even had board games to play. The drinks are delicious and made quite fast! Best place I’ve had Thai ice tea with ice cream in it too :)

Meh. Far, watered-down tea, and expensive. I came here only because it was close to an event I was going to, and I would not go again. I’m actually writing this as I sit in Boba Pub doing some work. I got a Thai tea without ice and with very very very little sugar. They asked 25%? and I said if it’s possible to do 10%, that’d be great. I’m not actually sure what they did, but the sugar level is perfect. I got it without pearls, and it was $ 3.95 post-tax for an ok-sized cup. The Wifi is pretty good; I’m able to VPN on it and it’s still fast. Anyway, the tea doesn’t have a strong flavor, and it’s not very creamy. I don’t really like it, and I won’t be coming back. They take card for any amount, although they prefer cash! After I wrote this review, one of the workers here came around and offered hot jasmine milk tea samples. It was REALLY sweet, and the tea flavor wasn’t very strong either. I stand by my «watered-down tea» statement!

OK, I feel awful that I had a ROTD for this establishment because their inspection report from September was mortifying. My 1st(and previous) review was 4 stars, mostly based on the service. My dad has gone back here since that review, and regrettably, service has gone downhill. I wanted to see if others had the same experience, and it looks like there has been more than just bad service here. I mean really, why hasn’t this review(screenshot attached) been publicized more??? There is a FUCKINGCOCKROACH in someone’s drink!!! NOTCOMINGHEREANYMORE!!!

Kindness only goes so far when you can remedy the problem with another worker… This is my second time here, and the service seemed very slow as there was one person working the cash register and fulfilling orders. Though she was friendly, there was another person in the back who could have clearly been helping out so orders did not take 15+ minutes for a place that was hardly busy. While waiting, I was very surprised that everyone in the store had been waiting for their order(I thought it was just a few of us there were roughly 8 of us total). Drink-wise, they’re not bad. It’s nothing particularly special though. I had the mango passionfruit tea. But it is one of the few places in the neighborhood. It is out of the way for me, only stopped here since I happened to be in the area.

Service is a bit slacking. One of the employees was out talking to her friend and then went back to work when her coworker asked but who knows– maybe she was on break and he was just really swamped with tickets. Boba was undercooked. It was hard in the middle and kind of ruined the boba experience but luckily I got pudding with my drink. Brown sugar iced milk at 75% sweetness is perfect. Taro drink is super good– lots of taro! Nice place but work on the service. Drinks are pretty pricey too, average $ 4.50 without toppings and some toppings are more expensive than others.

3.5 stars to Boba Pub for helping quench our thirst during balmy, summer evenings. Their caffeinated drinks should come with a disclaimer, they are potent. Like Lionel Richie, I was up, «All night long.» They’re enrolled with FiveStars so collect points towards your free bevy. Big plus because they accept Amex.

I have read plenty of reviews on Boba Pub that this is a hit-or-miss place. For me, it was a total miss from the bullseye. What my friend and I expected to be a grab-and-go boba run turned out into a waiting game of over 15 minutes. Walking into Boba Pub, you will notice that the interior design is a lot more fancier than your average boba store. On the wall, there are really cute frames with insipirational or happy quotes. Totally Instagram worthy. On the other side of the store, there are comfortable and inviting couches(royal purple, such an eye-grabber!) for you to sit with your friends as you sip on your drinks casually. I would say that it is a medium sized pub with enough seats to accommodate a couple of parties. Also, the menu is displayed in an organized fashion above the cashier’s booth and there are many options to choose from. Boba Pub features your milk teas, fruit teas, blended drinks, and snacks as well. As for the customer service, it was not that great. The girls at the front were nice, but not very good with their time management skills. I felt that they were into their life story conversations more than the fact that they were forgetting or mixing up people’s orders as a family, my friend, and myself were waiting for our orders. I just can’t comprehend how it takes over 15 minutes to make two of our basic milk tea drinks. Plus, my friend’s order was forgotten so they had to make it as soon as we brought it up. For the taste of the milk teas, there’s nothing special about it. My Coffee Milk Tea tastes just like its name. I also ordered Fried Eggrolls, which were actually quite delicious. This appetizer came with four fried egg rolls and a sweet and sour dipping sauce. I would definitely recommend this appetizer and I hope that the other appetizers taste just as great. Also, from word of mouth, I hear that this place runs out of a lot of things. I overheard them running out of passionfruit earlier today, and my friend who went here last time said they ran out of pearls and bottles. Am I coming back? Maybe. Maybe today just wasn’t our luck, but I would definitely come back for the food, not the drinks.

I don’t get it. Reviews here are good, so I stopped by today to try random food since I am living(almost) next door(I did NOT order any drinks). I waited 16 minutes for teriyaki chicken and 19 minutes for garlic fries(after ordering). Garlic fries…0 star. Dry, few garlic. The garlic is not even in oil so it doesn’t stick to the fries. The whole thing is dry. Fries are frozen, not fresh. Parsley? not fresh. The only twist is the use of «5 spices» blend on the top of all that. Taste like very cheap tea house fries you’d get in Asia. no interest. bland. dry. not gourmet, really disappointing. Teriyaki chicken… It’s a bo bun with teriyaki chicken served in a take away paper box. 2 stars at most. My chicken had a taste. the rest(rice noodles and salad) was not seasoned. Very standard low end Bo Bun. It’s cheap, but it taste even cheaper. I give 2 stars for the(young) staff to keep up and improve, but the food is only worth 1 star. I didn’t try the drinks.
