It’s so scary to place your wedding hair and makeup in a practically stranger’s hands but Daisy made it so easy!
Daisy did my hair and makeup for my wedding a couple weeks ago and she did such an amazing job. Not only did she do a fantastic job on me but she did an equally perfect job on my bridesmaids and mom! She is so professional and easy to talk to; feels like I have known her for years.
If you are overwhelmed with wedding details, like I was, this is the make up and hair artist for you! She is prompt and always has a smile on her face. Definitely recommend!

Daisy is absolutely wonderful! I had my hair and makeup trial yesterday and I felt gorgeous. I’m not one to wear makeup on a daily basis and she asked questions so she can figure out what look is best for me. I felt it was very natural looking but still beautiful. I can’t wait for my big day!

Daisy did my hair and make-​up for my wedding day and it turned out gorgeous and just like I had wanted it!
I contacted her several months before my wedding day and she was great with corresponding by email to answer my questions. She understood that I had a strict budget and was able to help where she could — the prices are reasonable and her work is exceptional. She gave good suggestions and tips for when I should do my trial (pick a day that you could go out to a fancy dinner or date night). At my trial, she was friendly, easygoing, and professional. I felt like she really listened to my request and spent quality time with me trying to figure out what is best for me. I brought some pictures that I had found on Pinterest — the first one I thought would look good, didn’t look that great, so we tried something different and that worked well. Again, she’s an expert in make-​up and hair, so she had everything she needed and gave me more tips on what would look good. I left the make-​up trial feeling confident that she’d make me look good on the wedding day.
Day of the wedding, we had coordinated through email beforehand about where to meet and when. She had set up a schedule of which bridesmaids were getting their hair and/​or make-​up done and what time they were scheduled for. It was organized and she arrived in time with her assistant Tobin. They stuck to the timeline and my entire bridal party had a lot of fun getting prettied up for the big day. Daisy brought everything she needed and understood that my venue wouldn’t allow hot curling irons, so she kept that in mind as she did our hair and make-​up. They followed us to the venue and continued touch-​ups and helped all of the bridesmaids put on the false lashes, even reapplying lashes for one of the bridesmaids who felt that it was uncomfortable and poking her. They made sure all of us were comfortable and feeling our best. My make-​up and hair turned out just like we had planned at the trial and I felt very relaxed and confident with Daisy’s work.
If you’re leaning on the fence on whether or not you need a wedding make-​up artist and hairstylist, you should definitely consider Daisy. At first, I was debating whether I could do my own hair and make-​up, but the wedding day is a very special and important day! Rather than stressing out about it, leave it to Daisy, who is a professional! Wedding day make-​up is different than everyday make-​up or going to a nightclub make-​up, so you want to make sure that you get it right. Daisy will make sure you look and feel your best on your wedding day. I haven’t gotten that many pictures yet, but from what friends took at the wedding, I am really happy with how I looked on the wedding day and am so glad that I trusted Daisy to handle my hair and make-​up. My favorite make up artist was already booked, and I needed a make up artist for my husband’s 40^th birthday celebration. So thank God I found Daisy! She took the time to examine my face, my occasion and my gown and did my makeup just perfectly! I looked completely glammed up without looking like a porn star :-) will definitely use her again!

Daisy is amazing! I live in the Bay Area but I am originally from San Diego and got married in Carlsbad on ⁷⁄₁₂. I was really worried about finding a makeup artist from long distance but found Daisy’s website and scheduled a trial when I was down visiting in SD. I was so impressed at my trial that I booked with her as soon as I could!
I wear very minimal makeup and haven’t liked how I looked in the 3 weddings I’ve been in as I felt too made up and didn’t look like myself. Daisy really listened to me and asked me if it was «too much» or «not enough» often so I felt comfortable. She was patient with me as we tried a few different lip looks until I found the perfect one. She is also very reasonably priced compared to other makeup artists in SD.
When it came to the day of my wedding she was on time, professional and very diligent. She listened to all of my bridesmaids and me for what we liked and wanted and all 5 of us were happy with how we looked.
I can’t wait to see the photographer’s photos and I will try to post some on here if I remember.

Daisy and I met last weekend for my trial bridal hair and make up. I just want to say that i am very pleased with her job. My fiancè and relatives thought she did a great job as well. I looked like a bombshell! I cant wait for my wedding day! Thanks Daisy :)

Daisy did an awesome job on my hair and makeup for my wedding on April 4, 2014! We exchanged several emails prior to the big day, including me sending her some pictures of hair and makeup ideas I liked. I was coming in from out of town so we never met, which was a bit scary but she was on-​time and did everything we agreed to beforehand. She even accommodated my adhesive allergy by using an alternate product on my lashes. I highly recommend her services!

Daisy was awesome. She was easy to work with, quick to respond to correspondence, priced well, and did an amazing job. We did a trial before hand to get a feel for what I was looking for and she allowed me to review the contract and email it to her. She was on time on my wedding day and brought an assistant to work on some of my wedding party. They were fun and really helpful. I was able to email Daisy my hairstyle & one of my bridesmaids so she’d have an idea beforehand.
I did a more 1950s look with red lipstick and a curled ponytail. The airbrushed makeup lasted for hours. I didn’t even need to touch it up once. My hair is really, really thin but the curls in my ponytail made it through the whole night. I really can not recommend Daisy enough & will definitely use her again for any photo sessions or major events.

Daisy was fantastic from start to finish. My hair and makeup trial went great, but when I changed my mind at the last minute about doing heavier eye makeup and totally different hair, Daisy was really responsive and flexible about it. I had kind of a large bridal party, and she brought an assistant with her. Everyone was really happy with their makeup.
She showed up on the day of the wedding wearing our wedding colors and was sweet and wonderful throughout. She was within my price range, and everyone was ready slightly ahead of time. I would highly recommend her to any other bride!
