It’s nice to have a company fitness center to work out at when I can’t make it to the gym, but not a gym that’s 40 degrees when you step into it, smells like gym socks and feels like I stepped back into the 80’s(even though the 80’s were AWESOME!) The gym-socks reference was from my co-worker who refuses to step foot in there. I must give myself a pat on the back for giving it a good try during my lunch breaks, but I’d just rather work out after work at 24 Hour Fitness Super Sport. It really is super freezing when you step in here, it does smell bad, when you go in the locker room, it’s super scary cause it’s dark and dead quiet, it does smell like dirty gym socks now that I think about it, and the equipment is not up to par with a real gym’s equipment.(They have the ab roller that you buy on the infomercials instead of a real crunch bench even though I know that’s not the most effective ab tool.) On top of that, you have to pay $ 20 for the access card, but luckily, they waived the fee for me. I’ll go here if I ever need to do a short run on the treadmill because their treadmills are pretty decent and also use their free weights, but other than that, I’ll still go the«real» gym because I feel more motivated there…
