I usually don’t leave a review for a burger joint. As they say, «don’t sweat the small stuff» :) I usually read/leave reviews with bigger stakes at hand. However, after my experience tonight, I had to leave a review. I like Carl’s Jr. Because it is close to my home, good quality burgers vs. other burger chains and open late at night. It is pretty much my ONLY choice on Sunday night at 10 pm. I don’t mind spending a few dollars more for that. I went to drive through of this location today, Sunday night around 10 pm. After glancing at the menu, I wanted a large six dollar burger combo(½ lbs vs. 1⁄3) as it is clearly stated on their menu). So after asking for a «large» combo, I drove to they window. I was given a 1⁄3 lbs burger with large fries and soda and handed a super large drink !!! I looked at the receipt and it said 1⁄3 lbs burger, large fries and large soda !!! I tod her that I asked for a «large» combo !! She Said that they think of «large» as large fries and large drink !!! And not the burger !!! Most lame excuse for up selling and giving less. After being totally pissed, she called the manager and I explained to him as by «large», I meant LARGEBURGER !!! The manager agreed to their mistake and changed my order with a LARGE ½ lbs burger and regular fried and drink. I really didn’t expect a burger joint to try to rip customers off. I got a large burger and a refund. I enjoyed being assertive and embarrass them by keeping them honest. Check your order/price.

RAWBACONONMYDOUBLEWESTERNBACONBURGER. So I went in to ask for a new burger all nice cuz I knew it was super busy for this one and the bitch gave me Hella attitude like it was a burden to her I came in because they gave me raw fuckin pork. Needless to say Monday morning I’m calling the customer service number I found online. That was bullshit.

Every time we try this place it’s a total let down. Trust me no matter how good you remember Carl’s Jr to be… this one is nothing like that memory! Save your money and spend it on something worth remembering. There needs to be an overhaul on the staff, maybe some learnin’ on customer interaction. I mean c’mon I chose to come here to eat… dont catch an attitude with me just cause I have a question about the menu.

Very bad execution of a fast food restaurant, let alone a Carl’s Jr. Inconsistent to the max. Located in an outdated shopping center with a grocery outlet that can never seem to find it’s footing. If you’re going to drop $ 10 for a meal at Carl’s Jr., it better be good.

I think they changed management because the food here was top-notch this time but the Customer Service was still awful. The burger was(Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger), EXCELLENT, freshly prepared, meat cooked just just right, perfect BBQ sauce, piping hot Onion rings, nice fresh bun, piping hot fries, and Dr. Pepper that wasn’t watered down and tasted great. My sole caveat is waiting 2 minutes for the really bad young Spanish-speaking lady to find an English speaking employee to take my order through the drive-through window. It seems like they have a bilingual crew but they should definitely have English speakers manning the the drive-thru window. Keep it up, maybe in a few years you might earn 5 stars!

Carl’s is great at a couple things. The fresh ice cream shakes, and that fast foody Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger. I’m not usually a fan of char broiled burgers, and I’m a burger whore. I usually prefer my burger grilled on a flat top, drowning in its own fat. Not dripping it out through grill. But that Double Western is so good, even though always dried out. Don’t know if it’s BBQ sauce or onion rings that saves it, but it’s magnificent. Has been for decades, and never juicy, always dry. Somehow Carl’s defied the odds and turned a cow’s ear into a silk purse. Well Played

The bbq, bacon, onion ring, cheese, beef flavor profile still follows me as a child. Always loved always will. Carl’s Jr as a kid engrained this into me somehow. So i drove out of my way to fill the craving. I also saw the absolute scorching Sara Sampaio in their latest commercial for some Diablo sandwich but even she wasnt enough to steer me from the Western Bacon. So i hit the drive through and listened to the guy in the window call everyone«boss». I got my burger and off i was to hit the spot

Worst excuse for a fast food restaurant. Place is filthy, service is slow. Took a good 5 – 10 minutes to even be helped. All I wanted was a soda. After a long wait the manager told me the credit/debit machine was down. Told me cash only(I dont carry cash on né) and didnt even offer me a water cup. horrible

Located in an outdated multi-business shop-stop, this is a hybrid Carl’s Jr/Green Burrito restaurant with a Drive-Thru. Good food, as usual. They discontinued the sweet potato fries(I’m not sure if this holds for all of their restaurants or just for this one). When I need to save time, I’ve been getting the meal deals with the bun and then tossing the bread out. Wasteful, yes, but I don’t do that too much. Customer service is «meh»…I don’t expect the Red Carpet treatment from this place, so not a big deal. They do seem to take their time though, so my advice is to turn the engine off when you get to the pay window.

Classic Carl’s Jr. The double western bacon cheese burger always hits the spot. Carl’s jr is always more expensive that I expected. Higher end of the fast food chain I guess. The burger is good. The fries are good. Soda is soda. Average Carl’s jr. I’ll go here when I need a western bacon cheese burger fix. Expect the customer service to be just as good as any other fast food restaurant. Overall: come when you are craving it. Otherwise pass on it.

My mom & I love our shakes. Even from this place, where the customer service is not quite up to standard. We take the good with the bad & make the best of it! However… Tonight we spoke with the manager who swiftly pulled the offending associate into his office for a one on one. THAT was much appreciated. We arrived at the drive through window & were greeted by a strong female voice. My mother proceeded to order one chocolate shake no whip cream & one oreo shake w/extra oreo with whip crea, m. She reads it back as 2 oreo shakes, my mother says a chocolate shake no whip & an oreo with extra oreo with whip. She snapped back before my mother had the chance to finish HER order with «YES I KNOW. Is that all for you?» We responded & headed to the window & came up where we saw the strong female voice(her name tag said Maria) with an angry look on her face. As if WE had done something wrong. She gave my mother the total & kept on slamming the sliding window in between the payment transaction. As she proceeded to close the window the last time my mother wanted to confirm the extra oreo on my shake. She looked back & said«OH you wanted extra?» with an atrocious amount of attitude. My mother said sternly«YES thats what I was telling you when I ordered…» But at this point Maria had walked away. so disrespectful. My mother had enough & asked the young caucasian man for the manager. The manager listened to me as I told him that WHATEVER her personal issues are its not my mothers fault. That if she had listened patiently she wouldn’t have gotten the order wrong. That I myself work in customer service & I know some customers are impossible, but we had a very simple order. I emphasized that Maria or anyone for that matter would not like nor allow anyone to speak to their mother with such disrespect. He agreed, apologized & told us he would speak with her about this incident. After finishing up with us, he pulled her away from making our shakes & took her in the back, she looked supremely upset. The young gangly caucasian associate(I did not catch his name), before completing our order, came to the window He asked if we wanted whip cream, my mother was livid at this point, so I said«Really?» After all Maria did snap at my mother that she KNEW the order… just for him not to know. HE had the audacity to say«I just want to make sure, I don’t want you guys to complain or anything… My mother calmly told him if she had gotten the order down correct the receipt would show choc shake NO whip & the oreo YES whip. He responded with«Well I just ya know i don’t…» But I told him«Can you please just get the shakes??» He seemed to stumble out a «yeah» gave us, at this point, our WELLDESERVED shakes. We left with the customer complaint number in our phones & shakes in our possessions. So Be warned you may face this team, lets hope Maria grows with this & never has to deal with her own customer service.

I love their cheeseburgers. They are charbroiled. I’ve had cheeseburgers in so many places looking for just the right one. I had to eat dinner after work one night and I so wanted a charbroiled burger. I found Carl Jr’s online and I’ve been back 3 times in 2 weeks. I went to the one on El Camino in Sunnyvale. It’s the best. I love it when I want beef.

This location is definitely hot and cold. Today the drive-thru lady ended my order for me. I wasn’t finished ordering so I decided not to even attempt to order the rest of what I wanted. Good thing I ordered my main meal first. Wth, it is past lunch time so what is your hurry? Additionally, I ordered a Fanta(they have orange pictured) so I assume I’m ordering an orange Fanta. Nope! I pull up to the window and I get handed strawberry. If your establishment has different flavors shouldn’t you ask which flavor they want? The employee that handed me my food was very nice and also exchanged my drink for orange Fanta. Hopefully next time I go back that lady slows her roll.

Oh my god that is the worst Carl’s Jr. ever. The fried zucchini tasted like old oil, the ranch was homemade thick mayo, my burger tasted like crap. I need to Carl’s Jr. once a while usually it’s good this place is awful one star is way too much.

This has to be one of the slowest fast food restaurants in the city. I mean really 20 minutes for some fries and a burger with no one ahead of me. Dude I wish to work here because clearly nobody gives a shit on how long you take doing your job.

It’s been a long time since I’ve came to a carls jr. Boy was this a mistake. The foods not awful nor is the service. But the prices. The prices are insane. I spent nearly $ 10 on a large value meal. The burger meat was for sure frozen. I’m just saying if I’m going to spend $ 10 on a burger if rather go to a five guys or a in & out burger. How are they still in business? Change the prices gezzzzz

I realize this is a fast food place and not usually worthy if a formal review, but I kind of love Carl’s Jr’s burgers– they’re juicy and messy, so much so that I usually opt to eat them in my car because its not an attractive look for me to stuff my face like that. But not this location. Bf tried the featured buffalo-blue burger at another location by his work and said it was phenomenal. Naturally, I came here the next day to try it myself. Guess I should come at peak times and wait, because my burger was dry and overlooked and had more mayo on it then buffalo sauce and blue cheese combined, along with a chunk of «bad» iceberg lettûce– you know, the white outer leaves that are hard and tasteless? Giant chunk if that made up the majority of my burger. After taking it off, my $ 6 burger was roughly the size of a dollar menu burger. Downright disappointing. The buffalo-blue burger is a good idea and has a decent taste to it, but is poorly executed here. The wedge fries were moderately better but for an order served in a box, I expected more than seven fries. And again, they had more mayo than any of the featured toppings. Will go to the Saratoga-Pineridge location next time.

Strange black man and white woman about to have sex out in the parking lot. Not the first time I’ve seen them either. Avoid taking kids here.

I’m aware this is Carl’s Jr and it doesn’t really warrant a review BUT this particular location is TERRIBLE. Service is absolutely horrible and painfully SLOW. All the time, despite how busy it is — the service is slowwww. I hate coming here but my boyfriends loves their western burger so we occasionally find ourselves here. Got a milkshake tonight that took over 10 minutes to get AND after all that waiting it wasn’t even blended. An older guy ordered a cup of coffee and it took around 15 – 20 minutes for this poor guy to get ONE cup of coffee. Also the french fries are always either overcooked and way too crunchy OR soggy. They just can’t seem to get anything right here. Oh and I agree with Eddie W. — hand breaded chicken strips here are disgusting. THISPLACESUCKS. Go to a different location — it’s worth it.

Since this is a fast food restaurant, there is not much that can be said beyond that, but here I go again… I will give it a try and see what comes out at the end. This Carl’s Jr. is one of the better places we go to, but since we do not eat fast food too often, we like to make sure the places we do go to as well taken care of, and this Carl’s is one of those place, very clean and well taken care of. This is a good place to bring the family and have a hot meal especially when the weather is 100’s of degrees outside. The staff here is good, they will take your order and make sure to get it right, but just like anything when you have a human in the middle of the equation something can go wrong, so just make sure you verify your order before leaving, otherwise they are good and helpful. If you are expecting a 5 star restaurant, then you are coming to the wrong place, this is a fast food restaurant so do not expect more than that. This Carl’s is a good place to bring the family for a fast meal, but of course we lock the kids at home, oops meant to say we let the kids stay home, lol.
