I saw Joel’s ad on Craigslist and called him to re-​assemble my pool table that had been refinished. Amazing experience. Arrived on time, professional and extremely polite. Completed the work in a couple of hours and my table looks fantastic. Would highly recommend him for any pool table related issue.

I called Joel earlier this week to have him re-​assemble my 8ft Brunswick table as well as re-​felt the table. He and his co-​worker did a great job. I have no complaints! He took great care of the hardwood flooring, and provided some rubber pieces to sit between the table and the floor. He also repaired some areas of the table which broke in the cross country move from the east coast. I called a bunch of places, but his rate couldn’t be beat and he didn’t mention that anything would be extra for this or that. I research everything on Unilocal,but for re-​assembling a pool table in the South Bay, just call Joel. You won’t be disappointed with the service.

They did a wonderful job with our pool table. Joel and his men were able to handle our heavy table and maneuver it through some tight spaces. They were pleasant, helpful, and friendly to work with.

Century Billiard Service just refelted my pool table and did an excellent job. Joel runs a one-​man shop and is very skilled and knowledgeable. He uses quality materials, takes his time to do a good job, and is a very nice guy. I should also add his price was considerably lower than the other vendors I contacted. I recommend him highly.

Joel did an amazing job! We have a pool table for our Youth Room at our church and it needed to be put together, balanced, and re-​felted. He was very flexible to fit our schedule, very reasonably priced, and a really nice guy to work with. He did everything he could to accommodate our needs, and went over and above what was asked of him. I would definitely recommend Century Billiards to anyone!

Like most others, I found Joel on Craigslist while looking for someone to professionally move and set-​up a pool table I had bought. And I’m REALLY glad I did. I can’t say enough good things here. He was timely, professional, extremely knowledgeable, meticulous, clean, and also a really nice guy to hang out and talk to while he and his assistant set up our table. All this and his price for the job was slightly lower than his competitors.
He took the time to make sure our table was set-​up perfectly, and gave us tips on maintenance, things to watch for, and what to be sure to stay away from. Excellent resource if you’re looking for some honest advice and service in the billiards industry.

Joel was fantastic! He was extremely careful moving in and setting up our table on the Monterey Peninsula. He did a beautiful job re-​felting it, he was super helpful answering all of my questions and went far beyond what was expected in terms of making sure I had the supplies etc. I needed to take care of the table. I would give him 5 plus stars! He also was accommodating with scheduling the move to fit our limited time frame. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second recommending him or using his services. This is my first Unilocal review because I usually don’t review, but Joel’s superb service deserved it.

Very satisfied with the service provided by Century Billiard Service. Saw his ad on Craigslist and contacted Joel. He was right on time, very professional and shared his advice about placement and setup. Also took the time to fix a pool cue with a broken tip just because he noticed it. Spent time to go over maintenance and offered to return free of charge if table leveling after it settles. Highly recommend Joel and crew.

He helped me set up my pool table. He has good knowledge and an exceptional attitude. He was friendly and careful.
He gave me estimate, when he will arrive and how long it will take. And yes he was on time, within estimate and finished within estimated time.
I had a great experience. In future any alignment or small work he offered services free of cost.

Joel and his helper were awesome. We bought a pool table at a garage sale but had no way to move it or possibly set it up. Joel worked with the sellers to accommodate their schedule and worked with us to accommodate ours. The move went flawlessly. Joel patiently and carefully set up the table and answered all my dumb questions. He was meticulous in smoothing out the slate table and getting the balance just right and made sure the balls ran smoothly and everything was in good order. We called around and Joel’s price was the least expensive to boot. What a great service! I would definitely recommend them and use them again should the need arise.

I found Joel on Craigslist almost ten years ago and had him move and assemble an Olhausen pool table for us. We were happy with the experience and always stored his number in my cell phone. Fast forward ten years to today, moving to a new home, but have changed many cell phones and can’t find his number and don’t remember the name of the company! I find Century Billiards on Craigslist, he has a fair price, and says he can come soon so I setup an appointment with him. When Joel showed up, I recognized him immediately and was happy to do business with him again. Joel had the same assistant from ten years ago, and took down the table, moved it, and assembled it and calibrated everything in no time. I’m glad to have found his company again and highly recommend his work. Careful with your table, as well as your home and possesions.

It’s not often I have to use this type of service. In fact, this is the first time I’ve had a pool table set up in my house. We set up an appointment with Century within days of my calling, on a Saturday no less. Joel and his assistant were prompt in arriving and got everything set up right away. They were careful with our new hardwood floors, using pads and blankets for everything. They were meticulous when it came to setting up the slate (I have a 3-​piece slate table), ensuring the bonds were perfect and sanded to an extremely smooth finish. I was amazed at the care they took in every aspect of the installation. For the $ 250 I ended up paying, it was well worth it. I would definitely use them again in the future.
