Tried this gem of a nail salon for the first time; Tammy is very quick and precise! For full sets, she leaves you with a satisfying thin layer that looks so natural. I love her work, I definitely recommend her. Thank you Tammy!

I called ahead of time and scheduled an appointment and they were so accommodating when I arrived.
Tammy did a great job on my nails! She is such a sweet heart too. Its nice going to a place that gives great customer service, is clean, and affordable.
I will definitely be back :)

The ladies have always made sure I was first priority, unless if there was anyone else ahead of me of course, and so I always get the best results! I come back everytime I need a pedi !

Love this Nail & Hair Salon. Today Tammy did my Pedi. great job! She also does an awesome job on my nails. John my hair stylist and color. I finally found my one-​stop spot for my everything. Nicky does my wax. The whole staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. God bless this establishment.

Just got my nails done here for the first time and it was an enjoyable experience. My favorite part was all the choices they had for gel manicures… a lot more choices than I am used to! Tammy was friendly and dos a great job on my manicure. If I lived in the area I would definitely go back.

Tammy did a wonderful job. Did my acrylic nails perfectly. She took her time to make sure I was happy. She left them thin and natural looking.

Let me start by saying that I have gotten my nails done EVERYWHERE in California, San Francisco, Sacramento, Palm Springs, Los Angeles… I never find a place that fits the bill. But TAMMY at Charming Hair and Nails is, by far the BEST!!! She does such a classy, detailed, perfect job on nails that you will just LOVE if you go to her! She is also very kind and has unbeatable customer service, along with the other people working there who are all so welcoming! Great little gem of a place!

Tammy has awesome awesome awesome customer service. I carried a great conversation with her the whole time that my nails were getting done. Nothing special about the nails itself, and her pricing is reasonable.

Tammy did a great job on my nails this morning. In town for business & walked in without an appointment. Tammy took me immediately. Was friendly & professional, did a beautiful gel with flourish and a great price. Highly recommend.

Cute place. Was visiting San Jose for the weekend and decided enough was enough. I wanted two brows, not one massive brow that was the queen of all brows. Unilocaled this place, liked it that it had decent prices and had high marks. Got a pedicure and my brows waxed.
The waxing was quick and easy. No fuss and muss. And no talking, which I appreciated.
The pedicure was great too. The older was the one that helped me. She was fast and didn’t talk. It was exactly what I needed. I got my nailed trimmed, foot scrubbed, foot and leg massaged, and a fresh coat of paint.
Everything was $ 31. I was happy to pay for since it everything wS quick and easy. I would come again.

Loved this place. It was clean and didn’t have that strong chemical smell. Tammy did my nails and recommended using the crystal powder as it’ll make my nails look thinner and more natural, which is exactly what I wanted. I also did the gel polish. Super cute and I’m very happy with the results.

Love this place’ my nails always last and look so natural n thin! I come every 2 weeks for a fill and full set! She’s very careful and takes her time!

Wow. absolutely worst place ever. I walked in and asked for manicure and wax. The girl tried to refuse me because she was doing her own nails… yes girls i speak some Vietnamese. The girl finally decided to actually work and proceeded to tell me that I’m not Korean because i don’t sound Korean. Are you serious right now?
Then they tried to give me incorrect change, apparently they thought i couldn’t subtract. I had to do the subtraction out loud so they would understand. 100 minus 22 is not 58. But nice try.
I wasn’t going to tip, but that’s not my style. I tipped the waxer and she acknowledge me by saying uhh mm… no thank you was uttered out of her lips. The other girl at least says thank you.

I don’t usually write negative reviews but this place was especially horrible.
My mom and I came to get our pedis done and one of the women was already rude to begin with. She poked my mom on the back and said, «you! Go sit!» I was already annoyed by that but I just attributed it to the fact that she didn’t speak English well. The water was so hot that it was streaming but she forced mi madre to put her feet in. She then started to cut my mom’s nails and drew blood. When my mom said that it hurt, the woman insisted that she had to make that cut to get the nail. No apologies. On top of that, she rushed through the pedicure and for $ 35, it should have taken more than 15 mins. What kind of delux pedi lasts 15 mins?! When my mom pointed out that her pedi took a lot less than the others there, the pedicurist said, «we take long for friend! No customer!» Then all 3 of them started yammering in Vietnamese and kept looking at us. One of them even said something… complain while pointedly staring. I mean, damn, if you’re going to talk shit about your paying customers, at least be discrete!
I really didn’t want to tip and they sure didn’t deserve it but that would just be tacky not to. Definitely never going back again.

Will come back for mani and pedi for $ 30. Yay! They don’t have new massage chairs but they are decent and u can understand that they charge less probably because of that.

Tammy was amazing! I have found my new nail place. I had a really bad set that kept lifting and she helped me out so much. My nails look so good now and I’m not afraid of the really natural looking tips popping off like they had. She even helped me pick out colors. Thank you Tammy!

This place is fabulous. Best foot & leg massage I’ve ever had. Their sanitation standards are way higher than other places. My feet feel great & my toes look beautiful.

I decided to try this place for a mani /​pedi after seeing the positive reviews on Unilocal.Gel looks great but for some reason does not bond to my fingernails (literally peels off after 1 – 2 days). Decided to give it one last try here. Anna Lynn started my pedi and Jenny finished. Overall, great job and toes still look great. I told Jenny the gel does not stay on my fingernails. Whatever she did it still looks great (2 weeks). I liked how she did not glob it on like other places and really took her time. Two girls came in for a pedi as she was starting to paint and she did not rush.
The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because Anna Lynn was a little rough removing my old gel mani (see photo). Overall, decent place and reasonable prices.
