Thanks to Abby, Jason and her Elite crew, we enjoyed a VIP soirée with an assortment of appetizers and two glasses of wine, followed by a screening of Just A Sigh. The elegance and convenience of Il Fornaio being near the movie theaters made it a great place to snack, schmooze and chat about the films prior to the main event. The staff was friendly and fast for service. Parking was easy with the option of validation if you watch a movie.

I have to agree with Lisa R. This was a great Unilocal event! The movie was fantastic — I highly recommend«I Am» to all audiences out there. It was the kind of thought provoking film mixed with issues of materiality and meaning of life stuff that is right up my alley! I also eat yogurt on a daily basis now ;).

I had just Gotten off my first day on a Capital Jury Trial at Superior Court and was a little mentally drained. So i rolled to the Cinequest Elite Event hoping it would turn my day around and it did. I arrived at Camera 12 and picked up my will call tickets at Camera 12. Then I street hiked over to the Fornaio for a prescreening party for a few beers and some nice Cheese, Vegetable and Sausage snacks. Yummy. I see the Lovely Abby leading the Unilocal Posse with her lovely Photographer Asia . We all then Street Hiked to the San Jose Rep for the Screening of I AM. Director Tom Shadac was inspired to do this film when he suffered a Traumatic Head Injury. He Re examined His Life Of Excess and Wealth He Criticizes Consumerism and Greed How much is enough. And he offers a solution. LOVE After the film Mr Shadac was presented an Award from the Kaiser Foundation and did a Q&A session. This Inspirational Film was what I needed after what I had to see and hear earlier in the day. Kinda like a Soul Transfusion. Thanks Abby, Asia Cinequest and Mr Shadac for a great time. 2011 Year Of The Rabbit, Total Global Bunny Domination !!!
