Cirque San Jose

Wasn’t sure what to expect. My daughter also takes gymnastics at a different place. It has by far been her favorite camp she has ever done. She always asks when she can go back.

This camp was referred to me by an awesome magician friend, «MAGIC MIKE» whom we hired for my son’s «Magical Birthday Party» Cheryl Taylor, the founder and directress of the camp. is a real authentic performing artist. I love her passion and artistic flair! She has a great big heart and really manages the large group of kids well, especially given that the kids have a wide variety of experience in the circus arts. {Many of the older campers have participated in Cirque San Jose for many years} The final production at the end of the 2-​week session was tantalizing and very professional. a real treat for the parents and kids alike. My son and I can’t wait for him to go back next summer.

My daughter had a one-​week summer camp this year and she loved every minute of it!
Cheryl is very energetic and upbeat, charismatic and lovely; the presentation was very well organized and a pleasure to watch. The whole team if very professional and one can tell they really love what they do… they do it with their hearts!
Next year we won’t just take our daughter to this camp, but take a group of friends :) Highly recommended!

My family LOVES this place!!! Cheryl and her instructors are wonderful. It feels like home. I thought I am just signing up my daughter for summer camp to pass time but it turned to be a much more significant experience for her. She learned and improved so much in the 2 weeks there, she hasn’t made such a change during a whole year in gymnastics class! Cheryl treats each child and parent so warmly. My daughter just fell in love and wants to go to classes every day. It is such a warm, patient, nurturing environment that teaches skills and how to perform. What can I say, we are in love!!! We also got a very nice professionally edited video of the performance.
The other parents and kids are also great. It’s like an extended family.

My daughter started taking classes with Cheryl when she was at a different facility, and I was immediately impressed with Cheryl’s coaching abilities — in one half-​hour my kid learned more gymnastics than she had in a previous year at a different gymnastics school. As time went by I found that Cheryl and her assistants also taught the kids how prepare for a show, deal with stage anxiety, conduct themselves professionally. They help and encourage each other — they’ve become like family. Their shows are creative and fun and manage to showcase every level of talent. We are big fans!
