We had a newborn/​family photo session with Cyntia and just saw the photos. She does amazing work!
These are photos that we will cherish forever. She walks you through the process, from what to wear to how the shoot is going to go, to what we want to get from it & makes it easy.
I have worked with many photographers, and when it comes to getting our 2 year old comfortable & warmed up, she did such a great job. She is not afraid to get silly or think outside the box in order to get the perfect shot.

Cyntia Apps did a maternity photo-​shoot of me and my 34-​week pregnant belly a couple of weeks ago. The shoot was a fun experience, being pampered with hair and makeup, and made to feel very beautiful, all in the comfort of my own home. Cyntia is great at giving direction to help get natural looking, flattering photos, in a friendly, energetic manner. The resulting photos were awesome! They are spontaneous, personal, don’t look at all staged, and Cyntia’s use of natural daylight in her photography is truly beautiful! Cyntia also had great tips to help make a selection of our favorite photos for printing and display. I am very impressed and am sure that I will treasure this very personal portrayal of such a special time in my life for many years to come. Looking forward to receiving the prints of our favorite pictures and an album.

My family and I had a blast at our fall mini session today. Cyntia did several sessions before us. The day was gorgeous but very hot, I am pretty sure she was tired, however, she welcomed us with a huge smile and was ready to roll as soon as we arrived. She was very playful, energetic, and patient and you could tell she was enjoying every minute of it (so did we). That made us feel very comfortable and at ease. She even made my younger daughter smiles :)
Cyntia also did my maternity pictures two years ago and the pics came up gorgeous. And she recently took pictures of my daughters and they were so good that I made four big canvasses for my living room.
We love working with Cyntia and we highly recommend her!

Cyntia is an amazing photographer who brings her excitement and passion with her to create and capture the beautiful and unforgettable moments in your life. My wife, daughter, and I had a shoot with her and we all loved it. I was nervous at first but it went away fast because of her great attitude and helpful tips. We felt comfortable, happy, and left feeling like something great just took place. When we saw the results we had tears in our eyes at how beautiful the moment she captured was. Cyntia is an awesome photographer! Took some amazing pics of our family for fall last year. Gave me tips in how we should dress for the photo shoot and chose a beautiful place for us to meet. Once we got there she started with pictures of my two boys, the little one that never smiles for a picture was smiling the entire time, she kept making noises and faces to him and he thought it was the most entertaining time. She captured us as a family as we are, happy, informal and in love. Pictures came out so good! I was really happy with the process and with the outcome. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for family pictures. Look at her blog and you’ll see what I mean :)

Cyntia Apps is an amazingly talented and confident photographer. She has a wonderful personality and makes you feel extremely comfortable. She guides you with all the right cues for serious, natural, and smiling photos. After being around her for only 5 minutes, you feel like you have known her forever — exactly how you want to feel with someone who is capturing photos of you.
My husband and I had the privilege of working with Cyntia for several big events — our engagement session and our wedding day. With each event she continued to surprise us with the amazing quality of photos she was able to capture.
