After conducting a lot of research I settled on Dunn Edwards Evershield exterior paint. I had some difficulty selecting the colors for my walls(stucco) and trim(gutters, eaves and barge rafters). I spoke with Kurt Kline who stated that Dunn Edwards offers a free rendering service whereby if you take a digital photo of your house and email it to them at they can do a free rendering of the image with colors you select of their paint. Wow, this really helped me narrow down my color choices from 5 to 2. Then I just purchased two small quarts enough to paint a 4′ x 4′ swatch on my rear wall and then I could look at the color 2 – 3 days later to see if I liked it. Once I had locked in my paint color, all I had to do was select a painter. Kurt also offered up some referrals, I chose Felix Trejo of Valley Painting who said he would spray and backroller two coats since I was changing the house color. I chose a Velvet sheen on the walls(stucco) which offers some UV protection and semi gloss on the trim. I couldn’t be happier with the paint, install and overall customer service I received with this project. I have also gone back for various follow up projects, staining the deck and just recently o buy some caulk for an interior crown molding project that is ongoing with EHR(Eddie Hernandez Remodeling). If you want a quality bucket or gallon of paint ditch Behr(Home Depot) brand and go with Dunn Edwards Evershield its what the professionals use. 5 stars
