Essence

There are usually one or two people working in the store, and they won’t talk a lot. When you go into Essence, don’t bring along high expectations. There’s a variety of jewelry for you to choose from and there are even key chains, belts, hair accessories, makeup, and women’s underwear. For their prices, it’s alright, but I wouldn’t buy any undergarments here. It’s almost always quiet inside, and there are little white baskets stacked next to the store entrance for customers to use. The jewelry is cute, and last time I went here it was 50% off. I come here often, but most of the time I leave empty handed. I’ve never had a GREAT experience here, but nothing’s happened to make me hate Essence. If you like cute, inexpensive jewelry, then come here.
By the way, whatever you buy, you cannot return. I think it is strange, but a store has to earn its money some way, right?

I completely agree with Ailien L. comment. I recently had a bad experience of buying very low quality jewellery. It looked great from outside however it lasted only a day. When i went to the store they showed cold shoulder and the disgusting lady who doesnt know how to even behave with the customer refused to acknolwedge it and walked in the back room. No wonder why i have never seen any customer in that store. I regret going there and would strongly recommend everyone to not buy any jewellery from this shop.

I like this place, but you get what you pay for. Cheap quality, but cute stuff. Good place to go for accessory jewelry. Wide selection!

I agree with the OP — the «return policy» is highly suspect and not good business policy. How they are staying in business is beyond me.
However, their clearance sales on jewelry is pretty decent. When I remember to come in on this side of the mall, I stop by on occasion.
Also, they do have some items I have not seen in other similar shops like Amuse.
