The phở is ok and almost there. Didn’t have the depth you’d expect. The rice plates is where the money’s at. The bbq pork and shrimp over rice is legit. I would definitely come back for that(and have). I don’t think it needs to be a chipotle style ‘pick your own ingredients’ as there’s not too much variation for a plate entrée. Novel, but not necessary. The food speaks for itself. Hopefully they can improve the phở soon — if they did that, no telling what can happen. The prices are very reasonable. The owners and workers are super cool and pleasant. I’ll be back.

They were so friendly and welcoming when we first came to visit. The place was tiny though. Its finally nice to have a place by our community that serves phở, vietnamese sandwiches, rice plates, boba and fruit slushes. Tried their strawberry smoothie and phở. We took it togo. They put lots of meat in out bowls, which i loved. The drinks are all made fresh. Excited to go back and try their sandwich. New spot for phở because its so conveniently near my house instead of having to go all the way near east side

I finally got around to trying their food last night. I ordered the bun thit nuong and it was very delicious. Very generous amount of food at a very reasonable price. The staff were very welcoming and friendly as usual. This is still one of my favorite Vietnamese places in the area.

I was craving for a rice plate and I found this little shop on Unilocal!Nice cute and clean restaurant. The menu is straight forward also. The pricing of the dishes are pretty fair. I ordered the rice plate with grilled beef($ 7.75) and also one egg roll($ 1) togo. The food was great for the price, but I thought the beef was a bit sweet. Not very sweet but a little sweeter than how I would have liked. The egg roll was alright – pretty basic. The gentlemen who explained the menu to me was really nice and friendly. Staff seemed nice so to find a Vietnamese place with service in mind is always great! Cute, small family owned restaurant. Looks like they also serve a wide variety of tea and milk teas so I’ll definitely be back!

The Banh mi was good-not great. A big portion. The spring rolls were good too. Again not great but good. The service, however, was excellent. I’ll go again and try the Phở.

Was excited for a customizable Vietnamese place, like all the Chipotle-esque models. Happy that there were many pieces of grilled shrimp in my bun, probably ~8 [affordable price as well, $ 8]. However, the flavor was mild, and the bun could have used more fresh and pickled veggies. Better bun to be had at more traditional Vietnamese places.

Unfortunately didn’t get to eat here because there were two groups and not enough tables for me to sit down and eat I will try to come back another time

Vietnamese restaurants are little sparse around this 2-mile radius off Monterey Road, so it’s nice to have some new places pop up. That being said, this is a fairly quick place to grab a bite to eat. Everything is customizable(keeping up with the current trends). I believe the meats are already cooked and just need a quick grilling to warm up. When I visited, I opted for the Grilled Chicken over vermicelli(white rice noodles), with all the fixings, and of course, nuoc mam(fish sauce) for drizzling. It was pretty tasty and I would like to return to try the other proteins as well. They also offer banh mi sandwiches now as well, which was not on the menu card they had originally printed out when they first opened. They had a decent menu of teas and VN coffee as well, so I just might try something the next time I am here! VISA/MasterCard accepted, woohoo!

I’m glad i tried this place out! It was cute and clean inside. The workers were very friendly. What i ordered to go: Chicken phở 3⁄5: For fast food, the chicken phở wasn’t bad at all. They give you veggies and tons of chicken. The only complaint is that the broth was a bit salty. Spring rolls 2⁄5: I prob wouldn’t order this again only because there was nothing special about it and the wrapper kept sticking to the paper boat and causing the wrapper to rip. I’d definitely come back to try the vermicelli dishes as it did look very good. And I honestly would get the phở again, next time i’ll try the beef phở.

I am so happy to say that there is a Vietnamese spot on the south side that is good and clean. They are a very small restaurant which means you can’t bring your whole crew unless you order Togo. The menu is very limited, but it’s everything you would want at a Vietnamese spot. They defiantly live up to their name Fast and Fresh! You could see them cook your meat on the spot which is a plus. The employees are also very nice and helpful! I ordered pork with rice vermicelli and the Vietnamese sauce! The sauce is really good, so if you like it super saucy like me ask for more! They are more than happy to give you a little Extra. They also give a lot of meat which is awesome to see! I am definitely coming back for more! So if your thinking about coming here, you should just do it! Cause I will!

We came here to grab lunch. I decided to order the phở. After paying at the counter, I only had to wait about 5 minutes for the food to come out. The phở was delicious! The broth was hot and flavorful. There was a decent amount of noodles, but some of the meat in the soup was a bit fatty. Service was really good. They kept checking on our table and asking about the food. I’d come back again.

Being my lazy self, I sat in the car while my boyfriend ordered Togo here. The owners were very friendly towards him & eager to please their new customers! You pick your base– salad, noodles, or rice and then you pick your choice of protein– chicken, beef, pork & then your toppings. He got beef while I got chicken and they definitely don’t skimp out on the portion! The chicken was cooked to perfection and had a lot of flavor to it! Not to mention, the prices are very reasonable! I’ll definitely be back.

Came there tonight with my family and ordered to go. Very friendly staff and helpful. I didn’t realize they not only had phở but Vietnamese sandwiches and pearl tea too. I’ll have go back there to try them. The phở was good and I love the fact they dont add MSG. The takeout was packed nicely and overall just a yummy place to go for Phở.

We found this new place on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. I had the combination phở and my bf got the beef phở which are both surprisingly good, better than our expectation for a «fast food» spot. Our food came out in less than 5 minutes and I can tell their phở broth is MSG free because I didn’t need my water refilled at all, normally I would need 3 – 4 glasses of water if I happen to eat food with a lot of MSG. We also tried their peach and lychee tea and both were good, not too sweet. Customer service was also excellent, I rarely get this kinda friendly service at a phở restaurant lol so this place is highly recommended for Viet food lovers who is tired of bad service at some Viet restaurants.

Omg I love this place! Who knew there would be an actually good Vietnamese place in south San Jose? Employees are very nice and welcoming. If I went here 3 times in one week, they’re doing something right. I’ve tried their chicken/shrimp rice plate, chicken bun plate, egg rolls and their Phở Bo. Everything is delicious and fresh hence the name of their establishment. Pretty generous and all affordable. It’s hard finding a decent Vietnamese restaurant on the south side. So glad they opened and I no longer have to drive to the east side. Also, their boba drinks are really good. I’ve only tried their strawberry mango green tea and strawberry green tea with boba but both are very refreshing And not overly sweet. Boba is cooked perfectly. If ordering to go, call in first. I also wish they were open later but I understand the need to close early. It’s kind of in the shadier location of the plaza.

Excellent! Was looking for some good phở and stumbled on this place off Monterey Highway. It’s a new place so they haven’t had time to make a complete mess of things. The owner was eager to please and didn’t make us feel rushed even though we were there past closing time.

Quite the small little establishment, more for to go food, but there are about 8 small tables if you want to eat in. Located in the Walmart plaza near the Dollar Tree. Hubs & I got the phở bo($ 7.50) as well as the pearl green milk tea. All our food came out super quick. The phở was flavorful, noodles & beef tasted fresh, & the veggies were super fresh as well. I was amazed at the quality considering it’s a quick to go type place. The milk tea wasn’t too sweet either. I do wish that there was less ice & that the boba was a tad bit sweeter. You can also order & make your own box like Chipotle or Asian Box. I haven’t tried it yet, but will in the future. You can bet I’ll be back for the phở bo though! Perfect for a cold day :)

Fast n Fresh offers a customizable menu or Phở Bo drilll: order and pay at counter, food brought to table. 1. chose white rice, salad, whice rice noodles 2. chose protein 3. chose toppings 4. chose sauce-peanut sauce, teriyaki sauce, vietnamese vinegarette with fish sauce, vietnamese soy sauce vinegarette. eats: Phở bo(7.5) with eye round, meatballs, briskets, small pieces gan. –noodles a little chewy –broth sweet from boiled bones and rock sugar, slight aftertaste, source unknown, owner disclaims use of msg. –protein not so meat, everything fresh. –small soupspoon not so convenient for eating Phở. foodnotes: –customizable menu foreign to me, choose Phở Bo empty table next to me had noodles left in bowl, tipped too! –lots of chatter in kitchen, no checkins on me. just one guy pointing at me, asking the other people: «where’s his Phở?» just assuming, no habla vietnamese. –less than 10 tables, flatscreen not on. –came in midst of big take out order, so they say. –come with low expectations and leave with no disappointments. .-friendly bunch… may return if hunger pangs strike, phở on level with most phở eaterie,

Cute little spot that just opened a few weeks ago! This place is pretty good considering it’s known as a to go place! I tried their Pearl Milk Tea, Strawberry Green Milk Tea, and the phở bo. Sounds yum! It is, however, I prefer a bit ice only. I felt that this place put too much ice, therefore, lacked a bit of flavor. Nothing too bad though! As for the phở, I really wished they used real bowls rather than plastic. It really causes a loss since it gets cold within 5 min. After talking to the owners, it appears this place has no sink! So real bowls weren’t an option. Pretty reasonable. Customer service was splendid, I must say! Nice and friendly! They checked in on us about our meal and if we had any suggestions. :) Always love places who care about the customer’s needs hehe! I give this place a 4 since it’s pretty good for a small to go shop & the fresh opening! Nice experience, I’ll be back to try new things :)
