Wow, this place is horrible! I called in and they offered me a 5pm appointment. I explained that I couldn’t make 5pm, because my child had other after school obligations(martial arts). So, they scheduled me for 2:30pm. When I arrived, they asked me to fill out the obligatory paperwork along with photo copying my insurance and CADL. I refused to allow them to photo copy my Driver License, but gave them permission to write down anything they needed. They weren’t happy about that, but you are NOT obligated to allow them to photo copy it. There’s more reasons which I will explain momentarily. After filling out the paperwork, I informed the nurse that I would wait outside their waiting room because it was packed and no where to sit(approximately 20 patients). After an hour of waiting(3:30pm), I finally went to the receptionist and asked if they had called me. She said, ‘no” I then asked how much longer it would be, she said that they had about 2 – 3 patients still ahead of me. I was upset. I asked her if I would been seen by 5pm. She said, that shouldn’t be a problem, but we’ll see. Do the math, 2 – 3 patients with 30 mins each puts me at 5pm — WTH! This is exactly what I wanted to avoid. This is poor planning. They should never had scheduled me to begin with knowing what my time constraints were. I immediately told them to cancel my appointment, but not before one of the lobby patients telling me that it’s always a 2 hour wait minimum. Now back to my ID, when you look beyond the receptionists desk you see files every where. They are stacked from the floor up to half way up the wall and down the hallway. There’s no way that they are complying with privacy laws. Each one of those files are suppose to be in a locked cabinet. I can’t imagine how good or bad the service is when the office is always overbooked like that. IMO, please find another orthopedic doctor.

Dr. Wong is an experienced Orthopedic surgeon who as well is an International Federation Medical Officer for the 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing Olympics. Needless to say, you are getting a person who knows his stuff. He has cared for my brother and father and they are very picky about the healthcare they receive. I came from San Antonio just to see him.
