Gail is the best! She does an amazing job communicating with you throughout the entire cut. She will always start long and work down slowly to avoid going to short. Simply put, she is a perfectionist and the best barber I’ve come across in the Bay Area.

It took awhile for me to find a professional hair stylist. I’m so glad that I met Gail who is very professional and she listens from what I need and wants to my hair and she tells me what’s best that fits my face feature. Ive been getting my haircut from her eversince i met her at Bellarmine. Gail is very easy to converse with. I’ve known her for 3 years now and when she moved to a different location, I still kept her.
It is not easy to find someone who can see my hair thinning problems. I’ve been having thin hair for past years now. With Gail, she would work it out to make sure it will show that I have full hair. She always made it possible and I get lots of compliments from my family, friends and to my colleagues and clients. I thank her for her honest opinion and professional demeanor to make her clients like myself leave the salon happy and satisfied.

Gail has been cutting my hair for about a year now and I couldn’t be happier. There hasn’t been a time ever where I doubted her work.

Gail is fantastic. First person in forever, who, upon meeting, got my head and hair right away. She suggested a new type of cut, and was SPOT on. Gail knows her stuff, and is hip on what’s happening in the hair/​styling space. If you want to look good, go see Gail, shut up and listen to everything she tells you.

ask for GAIL! she is an amazing hair stylist. i met GAIL last september when i first moved to santa clara. i have not had to find another hair stylist since, which is saying a lot for me.
GAIL has an innate understanding of the type of look and cut i am going for and she is able to cut my hair that way. what i like most about GAIL is that before she gives me the extremely short soccer player cut or overly eccentric movie start haircut i think i want she makes sure to leave a bit of leeway to let me decide if i really want to go that short or stay this long. she also avoids cookie-​cutter hair cuts that have you in and out in 15 minutes. even on what seems like a simple fade she’d rather take her time to do it right than to hurry a client off the chair to have another one hop on.
and before meeting GAIL i dreaded getting haircuts. i knew that if i wanted to look nice for monday’s event, i’d have to get cut the thursday or friday prior to give my hair time to grow out. with GAIL, i get my haircut the same day i want to look nice! she knows her craft and does not cut corners (pun intended) so that i am confident i will leave looking sharper than the generic google pic i came in with.
in addition, GAIL is kind, smart, funny, and inviting. i always have great conversations with her and feel comfortable in her chair. with GAIL, you get more than a haircut!

I’ve been getting my haircuts from Gail since her days at Bellarmine, followed her here, and could not be happier. They say that it takes a while to find your barber that knows you and once you do, you should stick with her. Well, Gail is my barber.
I literally walk in with a picture of a hairstyle that I like and she goes and assesses how that would work on my hair. She modifies it and cuts it according to my look for an individualized haircut.
Very friendly barber to speak to as well and answers any and all questions you may have. To top it off, she not only recommended what products for me to use, but how I should apply to my hair for the best possible look.

Awesome stylist, great personality, really listens to her clients. Great price for a quality hair cut that looks like a $ 50 cut. Gail really knows how to cut asian hair well and knows what style will fit you best. I have been going to dozens of different stylist since finding Gail and don’t plan on changing while I live in this area. Her new location is much better than Bellarmine because it has A/​C and is more private. Best stylist for the price in the area!
