We tried this because of the good reviews and it lived up to the hype. We have added this to our list of regular places and come here often. Whenever we are on the mood for some good quality, healthy food we come grab some chicken kabob plates. Great meal at a great value.

I’m giving this place a five star coz the quality of the service is really good. Their food is so flavorful especially the gyros. I’ve been here a few times already. The guys who works here are really courteous when it comes to service: they provide good customer service so I will come here again!!! The food portion is really good too.

Great food. HORRRRIBLE service. Unbelievable. My husband and I ordered a salad, gyro, pita bread, falafal and baklava. And two waters we never received. Salad and Gyro were perfect, no complains there. In fact, IF we were to go again, we would order entrees only and order take out for sure. Pita Bread was OKAY but under the description it said there was hummus that came with it… NO hummus. When we asked they said it was a typo… Very misleading. Had we known we had to pay extra for hummus we would have NOT spent $ 3 for some bread. Falafel($ 4.99) came with THREE pieces. Lol, a JOKE. Not to mention the couple next to us ordered falafel and their plate came with 4. Not sure what that was all about… Baklava I love to order at Greek restaurants because honestly, where else are you gonna find it. The only reason I ordered it here was because it was labeled at the register for $ 2 and each container I saw had TWO pieces. Mine came with ONE!!! What is their deal? REALLY? Will order take out for entrees next time, can’t deal with their horrible misleading ways.

Love, love Grab-a-Pita! I went a couple weeks ago with my husband for the first time, in a friends recommendation. So happy we did, not only is this probably the best Mediterranean food we have had the service is awesome! I liked the food so much I know have Mo(the owner) food prep my lunches for me. Last week was my first week and The food stayed fresh all week and tasted as if he just made it for me that day. Even better I have lost 7lbs to date! I highly recommend Grab-a-Pita.

TURNEDOFF! Ordered a chicken philly togo. Opened the box out to find oil leaking everywhere.(The kind that gets on the fingers and couldnt get it off) We ordered a shawarma and a philly togo. They put both orders in one box. cheap much? We were trying to eat the food in the car but couldnt because the minute i open the box the oil was everywhere on the wraps of both orders. Opened my chicken philly to eat but couldnt hold the damn thing because the oil and the meat were falling out. OFFICIALLYTURNEDOFF!!! Food is not that good, average. Probably will not come back. — — — — UPDATED: WHATKINDOFBUSINESSWOULDDELETEBADREVIEW? Excuse me you gotta be honest here, true business let others make their own judgement. No wonder why this bad place still has 4.5 stars. NOWWEKNOW!

The chicken kebab plate is very tasty. Great seasoning, chicken is nice and moist and not burnt, like other places. Rice tastes great as well. Nice spicy sauce. They are also very friendly as well and can make them whole dish spicy by request.

Delicious! Ate here for the first time today. It will not be the last! I got the beef/lamb gyro and shared a side of fries and hummus with my husband. It was all fantastic. The hummus was perfectly creamy with a hint of spice. It was not overly lemony like some hummus has a tendency to be. The gyro was large and filled with an excellent tzaziki sauce and fresh cucumber and tomatoes, and lettuce. The side of fries was huge! Bring a friend or two to share it with. It was pretty slow when we got there but it got busy fast. It is a small place and probably best for takeout if you need a table for more than 2 people. Can’t wait to come try the shawarma next!

The food here is amazing. Honestly for the price you pay and the amount of delicious meat they give you is a bargain. I think this place knows how to make their customers happy. They seem like a family run business and are really happy to serve the public. So glad something like this is around. Definitely my choice to go between chipotle, here, or panera for quick lunch.

Cool little spot. They cook the meat fresh when you order so that’s good to know. The service is cool. Got us everything we needed. The chicken pita wrap is hella good. The fries are good too. Fried fresh. Paired with a Coke, it doesn’t get better than that. Overall: will return when I want some Mediterranean food

Feels intimate here, like everyone knows each other. A pretty small place. I had the chicken plate. I’d get it again.

I love this place for many reasons first and the obvious one is food, food is just awesome here. Love their Chicken and Flafel shwarmas. Chicken is so juicy, tender and flavorful, and the Flafels are super crispy and yum. We have tried their Chicken plate, which has the same grilled chicken that they put in shwarmas and had some kick ass seasoning on the rice. Didn’t like the Flafel plate though it was too dry for my liking. I always order their fries, as it has a very nice seasoning and are super crispy. Secondly, the staff is very nice and friendly. They address very nicely to any of our requirements. Place is very casual, so wherever I don’t feel like cooking at home and am super lazy, we just go there and grab our shwarmas Yum Yum! I am a regular to this place and definitely recommend everyone.

Hope this place sticks around for awhile– it’s hard to find good middle eastern food. The beef/lamb gyros is delicious. My husband had the combo plate and preferred the chicken over the beef kabob(I liked the beef kabob). The fries are ridiculously nice, crunchy golden goodness like no other. The falafel is also top notch, done right!

Love coming to this place. Food is great and customer service is outstanding. Tried their Beef Philly Cheese Steak for the first time today with a side order of fries. Portion was pretty big but definitely not complaining about that.

Place is solid. Ordered the lamb swarma and it’s tasty. There’s a lot of lettuce in this wrap and you may think it’s more lettuce than lamb(which it is) but I felt it was perfectly balanced. I also ordered the vegetarian plate with falafels. This is not well-balanced. For $ 9 I only got 3 falafel balls and the rest was salad! Was really disappointed in this. Asked for extra tzatziki sauce too which they totally gave me without charging me anything extra(!) but it was just ok. So I’d come back for the lamb and would try some other dishes but will never order that vegetarian plate.

Lovee Mediterranean food so had to check out this gem that was close to my office! Many of my co-workers also gave the double thumbs up for this place so I thought… why not? The waitress was very friendly and greeted us when we walked into the door. The menu offers a solid variety – lamb/steak/chicken/combo plates, shawarmas, gyros, and falafel wraps – you’re typical Mediterranean/Greek go to’s. My friend and I ended up ordering the lamb shawarma, and our other friend, the combo gyro. Prices are unbeatable given the HUGE portions you’re given(I was stuffed only halfway through working on my shawarma). Our food was made fresh and made it to our tables within 15 minutes. The lamb was tender and flavorful, definitely not too salty. The salad wrapped inside was a complement to the meat. And of course, the yogurt sauce brought it all together. The shawarma was definitely a home run for me, and the side of french fries that my friend ended up ordering was pretty bomb – not too thin or thick, and nice n’ crispy. I am soo coming back to try the falafel wrap and chicken shawarma next time!

Updating my review because they have THEBEST lamb shawarma anywhere in the Bay Area, hands down. Great seasoning, perfect sauce, just very well balanced. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Gyro fan here. I’ve been into Greek food for the past year and there are a couple of items I only order and one of them is Chicken Gyro. Like most people, when I’m at a new place, I like to try something I know I will like before I order anything else. Parking is easy to access but can get busy because of the shave ice place next door. Otherwise, I park in the same lot as Goodwill. Gyro was awesome and they gave alot, It was also tasty, hot, and fulfilling. The dinning area can probably accommodate 20 people but it’s not meant for a large group. Tables were really clean and employees wiped them down on their downtime. Woot! I can see myself coming back here.

Thanks to fellow Unilocalers, I found this gem. I’m very excited to have a new Medetaranian restaurant nearby. They are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is amazing, I had to smell it all the way home and even though I live 5 minutes away, I wanted to pull over early to eat. I got a beef/lamb gyro and combo kabob. Both were delicious. The cost is very reasonable. I encourage you to try this place out next time you are in the area.

I’ll be brief and direct since I’m in a middle of a conference call. + fresh ingredients + the chicken was flavorful and tender(hella good) + the rice was fluffy + the salad was fresh and crisp + the falafel was delicious + prices extremely fair… inexpensive + great customer service — the parking lot is small thus a nightmare(parked by Dick’s Bakery) — the pita would have been wonderful if it was warm — fries were under seasoned — speed I’ll surely be back…

3.5 stars, round up to 4(because… I’m nice). This place is great for a quick lunch! Their pita bread is fresh and hot when you order it! The salad is REALLYSIZEABLE(I had the combination salad), with a sour citrusy kind of dressing. A good portion of meat. The Gyro’s/Pita were great– super sizeable. Which brings me to two gripes– 1. Not enough seating(I came with a group of 7, and we had to split to 3 tables since all the tables are only 2 – 3 people a table) 2. For a place called«Grab a pita», the pita’s are so large they are hard to grab!(okay, not a gripe, but I just had to haha). Reason for 3.5 star? They forgot our two falafel gyros that we ordered, so two people in our group waited awkwardly for a long time without food while everyone ate. However, they were apologetic, and that’s why I rounded up to 4 :).
