Great Clips

Tried a few hair dressers. bHard to find a good one to cut my hair except that most of the people work here seems friendly.

Really nice staff and the stylist was very accommodating with my needs. I asked for 3 post-​cut fixes (my request, not an error on his end) and he was more than happy with making the changes.

Had a good experience there! Very happy with my haircut, which is rare for me.

I had a really good haircut experience. Thu or Tanya cut my hair today. She did a fantastic job and was very nice and friendly. I have had mixed results here at times but as long as Tanya stays here I will come back to see her again. Thank you for making me look professional Tanya!

I went here a couple of nights ago after work at around 8:15. Not a bad wait but one of the stylist was having a difficult time with the cash register. Once I checked in, I told the barber that I needed to use the bathroom. When I got out, he took the guy behind me so I had to wait for the next person. The young lady that cut my hair was more upbeat and I guess you have to be at that time of night. She started to sing and although she did not have a bad voice, it was kind of annoying to have someone basically singing in your ear when she is cutting your hair. Anyway, I did not want a bad hair cut or to get nipped so I just let it go. So, if you want to be serenaded when you get your next hair cut, come here. Otherwise, you may want to go somewhere else.

I’ve been in here twice. The people are nice enough. I haven’t been able to communicate with the stylist and have been disappointed with my haircut both times (language issue). I’m going to be looking for another barber.
The online reservation/​checkin service is nice. It lets you start waiting your turn before you even leave your house.

Everyone is very friendly here and I always have a nice conversation with whoever is cutting my hair. I come here because I always have a coupon mailed to me for ~$ 8 haircuts. I’m not too picky about my hair so I’m okay with an alright $ 8 haircut or quick trim. You can make appointments through an app on your phone before arriving so that you are already on their list and don’t have to wait as long.

Worst Experience, no courtesy to customers, extremely rude, surprised how they stay in business with their attitude charging $ 16.00 !!. Just sent a note to
on my experience today. There are tons of other hair cutting salons who charge ½ the price or more nicer in Almaden area.

If I could, I would give this haircut a 1.5 star rating, but they don’t offer the option. I was pretty disappointed with it. It wasn’t the worst haircut I’ve had, but I would have to go back a few decades to recall any worse. I couldn’t have been more careful with the explanation of what I wanted, but she (the hair stylist) seemed to have trouble understanding me (it may have been a language issue). Ultimately, she cut the hair in front way too short, and left the hair on the sides too long. The back was «blocked» although I had requested a rounded, tapered trim in the back. After several attempts, she finally got the sides the right length, but for whatever reason, she couldn’t round and taper the back, and of course the hair in front was already gone (ugh). I would have thought the kind of cut I requested was sort of simple for all stylists, since others at different Great Clips and SuperCuts locations have been doing my hair for years with success. Too bad, because the shop is right around the corner, and it would be so convenient to just pop in for a cut on my way to somewhere else (work, shopping, etc.). Oh well. I cannot recommend the experience.
