Their tacos are so bomb. They’re extremely generous with meat and toppings, but especially meat. The seasoning is great, everything is fresh. The price is more than fair. They also accept card.
This place has hard liquor, beer, wine, and champagne. Both chilled and room temperature.
Pick up some booze and some tacos, go home and enjoy with friends.
The staff seems knowledgeable about their various offerings in terms of drinks.
They have snack foods, produce, and general goods as well but the tacos are so good that I’ve never touched the other stuff.

BEST TACOS EVER!!! Carnitas super tacos are my personal favorite. And tended by the nicest man! Been going here for past 5 years, still my favorite and most authentic! Cash only. Far front corner of liquor store.

Came here for he first time and it wasn’t so bad! You can definitely taste the freshness of the burritos and they aren’t skimpy here!
I paid 6.50 for a carne asada super burrito. Not too bad :) I will most likely be back!

Grewal Food and Liquor is a cramped convenience market. there’s even a taqueria in the left corner. no kidding!
not many micros, some priced, some beers not. not a lot of selection. Micro bigs mostly Stone or other well known names
brew: stone ipa (4.99)
–hoppy, .6.9% alc.
’-if this is ur fav, stock up, Stone is discontinuing this brew, going to stone 2.0
take outs:
–one may find what they want here or something reasonably close.
2.5 stars for at least carrying Stone beers…
–taqueria gets rave reviews, looks too hole in the wall for me.$ 2/​taco.

My favorite taco place! I think it’s a tad expensive for tacos but it’s so good! I think the lady who makes them makes it better than that older cook. The lady who cooks the tacos give more fillings.

I usually go to Super Taqueria right down the street, out of straight up laziness i decided to check out this spot just because it was closer. I was surprised by how much i liked the food, i had a super quesadilla & a torta. The quality was good and tasted fresh. I prefer the older man as a cook.

This is for the little taqueria inside the liquor store.
One of the absolute best vegetarian burritos in San Jose, especially for the price! Stop by this pace!
Only problem is occasionally, it takes a while because it’s just one guy.

A great hole in the wall mexican food place in san jose. The prices are great and the guy that works there is the only guy I have ever seen in there and he makes great tacos! The al pastor is my favorite by far.

$ 1.50 for tasty tacos. I recommend the spicy carnitas — chicken was less than perfect. Bring cash. $ 5 will fill you up. Also, the store owner is very helpful and can add super fast.

This place is hit and miss. The carnitas super tacos are delish when they are done right. Usually they are awesome but a couple times Ive been in the meat was dry. The chubby mexican guy makes them the best. And they are super cheap. Great little whole in the wall.

Definitely the BEST tacos ever. I’m a vegetarian so I’ve never had the meat ones, but my friends say the veggie ones are the best anyways! AND GET SPICY! So good and so cheap! BRING CASH!

I go to this liquor store mostly because it’s the closest to my house. Their beer selection is poor; they only carry Mexican beer and mass produced beer. I am yet to muster the courage to try the food from in-​store taqueria.

This is MY liquor store. They have everything you could want in your day including but not limited to fresh produce. The beer here is of the coldest nature and the cheapest of any liquor store downtown. In addition to the beer this is the only place I have seen Grape Gangsta energy drink. They have screws and candy and lunch meat and anything else you could think of. And the taco’s that are located in-​store are the absolute bizznezz! But thats a whole other write up. PS the blunts are fresh too –_–

The sesaoning is amazing on the carne asada from their taqueria. I would go there for random drinks/​snacks because they’re just a few blocks from our new place (we just moved downtown), and I randomly checked out their taqueria and did not regret. One wouldn’t guess the food is so good from the appearance of the storefront (kinda cheesy and rundown), but it is!

All of my friends know that I drink only the finest malt liquor and like to snack on lead tainted candy from Mexico. Grewal liquor has these offerings and more! They have pre paid phone cards, a variety of snack cakes, beef jerky, chips, and soda to cure the munchies, and all kinds of beer and liquor! They even sell Sparks!
I think the thing that sets this Grewal apart from the rest is the fact that they have a kick ass taqueria in the back of the store. Make this your stop the next time you have friends over. You can find just about everything you need here. Frat party? They have limes and Corona dudes! Gangsta party? They sell Hennessy, Crown, Hypnotic, and a firme assortment of malt liquor!

Hands down the BEST taqueria in ALL of San Jose. You can not change my mind. Ever. I am the worlds PICKIEST eater and when I order I always want something remove and other things added to suit my tastes. I am a firm believer that rice has no place in a burrito, it’s just filler and apparently so are they! There is only 4 things on the menu, burritos, tacos, quesadillas & tortas. They have a complete range of meats but get there early or you’ll miss out on whatever your craving. I don’t so it’s not a problem for me!
