GROOV3

I seriously love this class. A real hip hop routine is broken down and put back together so everyone can do it! Having a live DJ mixing in class is a treat! And the first time is free… So you have nothing to lose! Come dance!

I love Groov3! This is the rare kind of dance class that makes EVERYONE feel like a dance star. It doesn’t matter if you think you have two left feet or if you’re an experienced dancer. Either way, you’re going to find yourself smiling and feeling ridiculously happy through the whole class. Susan and Kerry do a great job breaking down the moves, and the live dj will keep you pumped up for the whole hour. I’ve taken Groov3 at both Top Dance and Forma, and I love both locations. Try it out! You’ll walk out sweaty and happy.

Where do I even start! First of all I have absolutely no dance experience! I actually sucked at dancing but I love music! But after having my daughter in August of 2014 I felt so overweight and unhappy with my body. Fast forward 5 months later, I decided that I needed to get myself back into the gym and in shape! And what better way then trying a dance class! It was such a push to get myself to the gym but the second I met these two inspiring and incredibly talented women, Susan S. and Kerry F., my self-​confidence level and love of dancing has given me such confidence and motivation in myself like never before! Susan and Kerry teach both the HipHop classes and Groove3 classes at the best gym/​club in the world «FORMA — Almaden!» Let me back up a little bit… I have been a member of this gym, formerly known at «Club One,» on and off for about 7 years now! And FORMA has stepped this place up onto a whole new level!!! And they aren’t done yet!!! But let me get back to my story of how I began Groove3. This past spring as I was taking their HipHop class, they announced the upcoming classes of Groove3, and allowed us to try It for free for your first time (and it’s free for everyone your very first time) and OMG it was the best class I have ever taken. EVER. And I have taken everything from belly dancing to yoga at this gym. Nothing compares to this experience!!! Groove3 is like a club feeling without being at the club and getting hit on by nasty guys! And there is a Live DJ, mixing right in front of you!!! The incredible DJ Brother Reese from 105.7!!! Amazing new and fresh Choreo every single week and the two best instructors in the world Kerry & Susan! I am seriously so addicted to Groove3 and the challenge it gives me trying to memorize these moves gives me a sense of accomplishment every time!!! It’s like so AMAZING!!! I guarantee you will love this class because let me tell you it’s the best dance class you will ever take. You have nothing to lose but all those unwanted calories!!! Try it out for free!!! GROOV3 is an amazing dance party that started in LA and is now taught up here in NorCal. The instructors Susan and Kerry are fun, funky and make you feel welcomed and comfortable. This is for ALL levels — easy choreography that is broken down in small
chunks so anyone can learn it. And when it’s all put together in the end — you’ll feel so fun and funky yourself. Can’t go wrong with a live DJ spinning songs you love and being in a room full of people who love to dance and just want to have fun. First class is free!

I discovered GROOV3 this year and it has been such a fun and awesome way to switch up a work out. Susan and Kerry are great teachers and the class has a live DJ! The class is perfect for all levels — no pressure at all! Overall, super fun class! I try to make it every week if I can!
Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a fun hip-​hoppin’ adventure!
