The name is not Marianne’s Ice Cream. The name is Heavenly Delights. The ice cream is just OK.

Based on the positive reviews on Unilocal,I decided to try Heavenly Delights for a dessert. I ordered a banana custard Nutella crêpe, and the servers made it and boxed it for me with a smile. After I got home, I practically DEVOURED it because it tasted so damn good! YAY! Unilocal scores again!

Amazing Oreo milkshakes! A little hole in the wall but the food is good! I used to come here after class and the employees were always very friendly. Also liked the popcorn chicken, but I would always get a milkshake. Not very much seating, but it was never a problem.

LOVE the chubby thai ice tea with pearl! There’s often a line with a little wait, but that’s a good sign. This place has an endless amount of menu options to satisfie your taste buds!

Came here for the first time in about 3 years. They updated the interior so it’s a lot more consistent. Beforehand there were faded posters, random Asian décor, and posters with inconsistent prices. I had just ordered Chinese food next door so I decided to give their milk tea another try. Again, it was flavorless and overly sweet. When I watched the lady make the drink I noticed that she mixed the almond flavoring with milk and pearls. Then, she added milk tea over that so by that point there was so much milk that the tea flavor was diluted. I bet if they brewed their tea stronger and didn’t add milk their drinks could be really good… Oh, and if you want a complete price list then look on the counter. The walls don’t show everything they have to offer.

Super friendly staff. Food and drinks are super cheap. Drinks are a bit watered down, but hey, you get what you pay for.

Returning from a bubble tealess city I had a mad craving for the silky and sweet robustness that is the milk tea I once lived for and missed. They could keep the place w little more inviting because every surface I touched was sticky. Bubble was good, but it’s difficult to mess up.

Really super rich and creamy ice cream, all from a local shop that churns out gallons of non-traditional flavors to ship all over California. I love it! The workers are SUPER friendly, will let you try tons of flavors without getting impatient even though the line is miles long on a weekend. I tried the horchata sugar cone and my hubs got the mudpie(coffee ice cream with oreo and almonds) in a waffle cone. Both were delicious, super creamy. I love this place! You definitely have to make a pit stop here before leaving SC.

I got their strawberry milk tea and jasmine milk tea here it was all watered down n all the syrup was on the bottom. The boba was hard. Service was not that great either. Wouldn’t bother to come back.

Best customer service ever… My friend and I were craving Marianne’s ice cream and we called to see when this place closed… Apparently they closed at 9 o’clock the owner I believed ask us how long were gonna take to get to his store … We said about 15minutes! Surprisingly he actually waited and the portion of the scoops were really big! Now I don’t have to drive to Santa Cruz for Marianne’s.

TL;DR? Terrible, poor quality drinks. Snacks are just as bad. The haphazard, tacky poorly designed interior is appalling. Service is entirely lacking. Shouldn’t they be improving themselves as Tapioca Express and Tapioca Island are nearby? This establishment is fortunate to be located in a residential area and next to a high school. The ONE time I ordered Popcorn Chicken was during lunch and there was no one in the restaurant but me! I literally watched the one employee make my popcorn chicken for 20 minutes. I was on my ½ hour lunch break and it took them 20 minutes to make a few pieces of chicken. She was just dawdling! Terrible and completely disrespectful of customer’s time. This store is like a hurricane with no direction or any organizational scheme in terms of service, food/drink quality, interior decorations. Their saving grace must be their location next to a high school but that will not help them for long as dessert and boba places are popping up everywhere now!

It’s a young family owned store. They have Marieann’a ice cream, so you don’t have to drive to Santa Cruz. They have milk tea and coffee, so you don’t have to travel to Quickly. They have Hawaiian shave ice and Crepes too. It’s definitely a one stop shop of all dessert finds. It’s a dessert paradise! How heavenly! :)

Heavenly Delights is in a decent plaza. The tables and such were placed in a good spot, it’s a tiny store but we still got privacy sitting on the tables. Walking in, there was a lot of menus so it was helpful but very confusing. I think there was two different menus but repeating pictures of the food all over the store and funny thing is, it’s much more bigger and eye catching than the actual menu. I got myself the Thai tea snow and the price is very reasonable. It taste great as well. Not too sweet like Tapioca’s. My friend got the jasmine green tea, very refreshing and just like any other Reasons why this place only got a 3 because I wanted to try the Bento Box #2, rice with pork chop and pop corn chicken but they didn’t have any more rice… The menu was way too confusing for me. And the calamari too a bit long for me(20minutes) and it looks really oily when it first came out. However customer service and the food itself gave this place a solid 3.

I visited Heavenly Delights and decided to get a coconut milk tea, green milk tea and milk tea with pearls. I have to say the milk Tea was really good! However, the pearls, really RUINED it for me. I am a connoisseur of pearls and the pearls we had in each of our drinks were far from Heavenly. :( The pearls were stale, old and tough. I thought they put in chewy black leather in our drinks. Yes it was that bad! If it was not for the flavor of the milk Tea, I would never recommend anyone to go here. Please make your pearls the right way guys! You are half way there with your milk tea.

I had a Google Offer for Heavenly Delights, so I ventured down to a new part of San Jose that I’ve never been to with my girl friends after dinner. The store looks a lot like a boba shop — with a row of tables and chairs along the walls. They also had Quicklys menus lining the walls, hah! This place offers a lot of options — boba drinks, smoothies, crepes, ice cream, and a few more desserts. Sometimes. too many options is a bad thing! We ordered the nutella and banana crêpe to share. It was just«alright.» I wouldn’t drive all the way to San Jose just to get another crêpe here. Actually, I probably wouldn’t even drive ten minutes to get a crêpe that tastes like this. At least the service was friendly. The guy who took our order was nice and helpful. However, I thought it was kind of funny that he was doing the«relaxed» work as a cashier, while his pregnant wifey(I assume she was his wifey) was doing all the«hard» work aka making all the desserts. I mean, come on! She looked full blown preggers… and you’re making her stand and work?! Winner of the worst husband award!
