Image Home Furnishings

Hubby and I just moved into our new home with only the furniture I’ve accumulated over the years, mostly just a few pieces of cheap bedroom furniture with very few «common area» type of furnishings. Ready to purchase our first real «grown-​up» furniture, we came into Image Home Furnishings at the recommendation of a friend.
Our goal was a coach set, something that was comfortable yet modern (transitional style?). The best thing about going to a showroom versus ordering things online is being able to try out the furniture. Some of the couches I thought looked great weren’t very comfortable, and some that were old-​fashioned-​looking turned out to be the most comfy! We found a set that was a happy medium between the two and was given the option of either bringing home the in-​store version or ordering a brand new one for about $ 300-​$ 400 more. The store owner promised that the in-​store version would be cleaned and prepped before delivery, so we went with that. We also ordered an end table and ottoman off of their catalog, and their catalog features tons more that they might not have on the floor.
Bargain! Definitely bring a Vietnamese-​speaking friend to come in with you if you don’t speak Vietnamese. They’re really nice people and willing to work with you on pricing.
The only thing is that when they delivered the couches and ottoman, I wish they brought an extra delivery guy to help the one that came to bring our stuff in. We were able to help him out, though.
We’ll probably come back when we’re ready to furnish other things in our home. :)
