Innerart Studio

Shiva is just wonderful with children. I drive from Sunnyvale to San Jose for my daughter’s drawing lessons, because she really likes Shiva, which makes my daughter more open to learning from her. Shiva has wonderful art camps as well over the breaks, which are reasonably priced. I am amazed by the quality and variety of what my daughter makes during camps, and the children do not get bored at all, since Shiva intersperses some dancing, and various games in the garden. Still Shiva really teaches techniques, mediums and observing in the midst of all the fun, and my daughter’s drawing and art skills are beautifully developing.

My 7 year old son and 10 year old daughter have been attending Innerart Studio class with Miss Shiva for 2 years. They thoroughly enjoy their lessons from start to finish! I am amazed at their drawing and oil paintings they have done so far. My son reluctantly began classes and emerged confident and loved. He gained a self-​confidence and talent we never knew he had! My daughter, she loves art a lot, she gained a lot of techniques from Miss Shiva. This year, they both won their artworks from Young Artists Contest at Santa Clara County of Education. They are amazing and impressed me. We are fortunate to know Innerart Studio in Cambrian Area.
Miss Shiva is unbelievable! Not only is the teacher talented and active artist, she is able to connect with her students. She cares about the whole class while teaching them great techniques! Their artistic abilities have improved greatly and they are really grown as artists! Ms. Shiva is capable of seeing each child’s strengths and interests and bringing out their best. I cannot say enough good things about InnerArt Studio!
Parents and children are brought into a loving a creative community that is rare and thriving. This is the most special place for children to do incredible art and their creativity. Well worth every penny!

My 6 year old son just took Shiva’s week long art camp, and loved it!!! In the midst of all the summer sports activities I have him involved in, this was a fantastic opportunity for him to get creative with other children under Shiva’s care. The children worked with an array of mediums including clay, pastels, watercolor, charcoal, and acrylic, and were also exposed to various methods used in creating their projects. This is not your typical «here are some items, now create» class. It’s a fun learning experience for them. Shiva also provides a healthy lunch and snacks for them, and in between projects, they play organized games outside in her beautiful yard. The camp is reasonably priced, and goes from 9:30 — 2:00. I will definitely add Shiva’s class to our list of summer activities in the future. As a kid, my son had a blast, and as a parent, I couldn’t be happier. A side note… Shiva is kind, always smiling, and has the children’s best interest in mind at all times. Thank you, Shiva!!!

I took Shiva’s art classes when I was a little girl «age 8» till I was in high school. She truly cares about her students and always gave me individual attention. Her classroom has a awesome ambiance to it, very artistic atmosphere along with the classroom feel in it. After all these years, I can honestly say I feel like I am natural when it comes to the pen/​paper, oils/​canvas, and sketchbook/​pastels. I also enjoy her energy and vibes, a natural when it comes to teaching what she loves. I am grateful to have ever come across such a wonderful talented teacher!

I love how this place is local and it’s a family business, when I see the art that shiva makes, it just inspires me to become an artist. She is so cool gave me 1 on 1 lessons Shiva.
