This place has the BEST Beef/Lamb and Chicken kabobs paired with their yellow, orange, and white rice combo and grilled veggies, all to die for! Love it! You can also call and order your food for pick up. It always takes 15 minutes to make if you order a combo plate of kabobs with rice and grilled veggies. The store is great to shop at too. It’s small but has a great variety of international coffee and rice and really yummy Persian sweets! They have a service person their named Chewy, he’s awesome! He is very helpful and friendly. I went in there yesterday to buy my boyfriend some Cardamom Coffee. I wasn’t sure wehre to find it so I asked him. He not only happily took me to the right area, but he also gave me recommendations regarding that particular type of coffee. He shared with me feedback from other customers about which coffee is most preferred over other brands. That was helpful. Also I was curious why some coffee is tightly packed and other bags feel soft. He explained the whole shipping process to me and what happens at Customs when the coffee gets shipped here from the Middle East. He was very informative and super helpful. I highly recommend this place for awesome kabobs and for friendly customer service and great quality international foods!

If you read my reviews… you will know I love, love, love, adore, admire, and want to possess and eat as many olives as possible. From all regions of this world, but predominantly from the Middle East(and lets say Spain, as is my native country). At the International Food Bazaar you can find all types of brands available at any other multi-culti store but with better price I would say. Also you will find all kinds of breads, from French baguettes to the zaatar, pita, etc, so a huge variety. Same with the dates, you will see several high end brands, my favorites are the Jordan ones… although the price is around $ 14 a box, but the quality is excellent, and is the perfect gift to bring to a food party, as you will bring the ‘exotic component’ plus is sweet and healthy. I cannot stop praising all the good stuff I always find there. The veggies and meats sections are separated, is like there were another store, so watch out and do not miss the goodies there. If you, like me, can live without air but not without olives, you will also get a huge variety that do not come canned, but by weight. Is perfect to try them all. This last time I went found the veggies more expensive than usual. Asked the guys that work there and blamed the lack of water. Other than that, is an affordable place to get international food.

I like this store. It has what I need and good meat counter. The one thing I would like to see them change is … to list the products on their receipt instead of jus putting«canned food». List it as pickles or whatever! I say this because I share the bill with other people and it’s hard to divide the cost. That’s the only thing I’d like them to change at the store. It’s a simple programming change on their part! Thank you!

My dad and I have been going to this market since I was little. They’ve got inexpensive outdoor fruit and veggie bins that remind me of shopping in an Arab country. Middle Eastern import faves like tahini, labane, and pita bread. The best thing is hearing the mix of languages among customers — Arabic, Hebrew, Turkish, Farsi — and everyone getting along!

All reviews talk about the good selection of fresh produce and meats, but, it is the extra mile these folks go makes the difference. I had purchased several items and when I went home I found that I was missing a couple of items. I went back the next morning, they refunded me no questions asked. This is what brings me back, thank you.

Great restaurant in the back with authentic Persian food(not just kabob but actually khoresht). Authentic herbs and great olives and pickles. Lots of variety with desserts. Fresh seasonal fruit outside. Friendly and helpful staff(I’ve had different experience at other middle eastern markets).

Went to check out for some British food items. They did have some and I was happy with what I found. However we went on the weekend and it was crazy busy in there. This place is very small and we could barely pass each other on the isle! Also we ordered food, kabobs and something else and when we got home the order was wrong. I still enjoyed what I got but my boyfriend was upset because he didn’t get a full meal for what he paid for. But the food quality was still good.

I am buying grocery from this store almost for 2 years and the best thing they have is pumpkin seeds which I love. My parents love them too and my kids also eat them. They have salted and not salted ones. The workers are there great too, helpful and great. The music inside is always great too, recommended to anyone

Awesome place to get items you’re particular about. I normally get my grass fed beef, pita bread, and some fresh ingredients from there. You get everything you expect from a Middle Eastern/North African like shop and then some. Also love the mom & pop feel of the shop and the quality of their merchandise. Last but not least fav thing about this store is their takeout. You can order a healthy quick dinner from the back and it’ll be ready by the time you’re ready to check out. The only thing that stopped me from giving them a 5 star is the checkout line. Checkout line also goes into the last isle and it’s hard to shop that isle. They mostly have the bread like items there and it feels very crowded there.

The store has everything. Different types of fruits and herbs. I like persimmons, fresh taragon, and lavash. I wish the store aisles would’ve been wider, two shoppers can’t go tru with two carts, even one has hard time to walk the aisles with the cart. Bought lula kabab, it was too salty for my taste, asked them to mix it with not salted meat, I was informed that everything comes premixed and there is nothing can be done. Oh well, I guess it’s not a restaurant. I am from Chicago and I have to say price wise this store is a lot cheaper then same type of stores here in Chicago. Some items were $ 3 less at IFB then here in Chicago.

Talk about wide variety of stuff. This place holds up to its name. Aisle by aisle there’s something intriguing whether it be an ice cream or a type of bread. The demographics of customers were all sorts… European, Indian, American, Asian, and Hispanic. If you want to go ethnic… Come here! I’m Filipino and it’s hard to find good produce at a good price. It has that mom and pops neighborhood market feel that I love because that’s where my mom used to take me when I was young growing up in SoCal. Will definitely be back!

WAY Overpriced and dirty!!! Old bread, cracker & some other bet rages I had bought from them. The food is not fresh(meaning they mix old leftovers with the fresh food) & they claim that food is totally separate from market.

I cant believe its taken me this long to write a review. I just want to give a shout out to my favorite family owned grocery. I’ve been going there for 20+ years and have watched it grow into a vital alternative to the major stores. In recent years they have added a meat/fish/poultry case, incredible produce, and hot food take out that is amazing. I went there today and for $ 30 got a ton of groceries.

Nice find for a quick Kabob bite. Located in the International Market, the kabobs and plates are located to the right in the meat section. Everything is cooked and grilled to order so expect about 15 minutes for your order to be ready. I selected two koobideh and one chicken thigh kabob and each order comes with plentiful flat bread and a mix of onions, cilantro and herbs. Everything looked so juicy and beautiful cooking on the hot charcoal grill and I got hungry just looking at it. The items are placed in a to go container and seasoned generously with spices. I found both the koobideh and chicken thigh to be a touch dry and both needed salt. Given that the chicken was marinating in the refrigerator and the koobideh dripped juices as it was being cooked, it could just be that they overcooked it. Overall, a nice find and convenient if you need to pick up groceries or other specialty items they have here(olives, breads). They also take credit cards including American Express.

If you are looking for a wide variety of ethnic groceries and produce at very reasonable prices, look no further. Top of the line olive oils priced at 2 or 3 bucks below most other high end supermarkets. Meats and cheeses, very much the same. If you’re claustrophobic, you might not want to visit unless you’ve dropped a mothers little helper or two, but all in all, a nice find.

This review is for the deli or Kabob area of the store. I learned about this place through Unilocal and due to the positive reviews, I’m finally trying it out. When I drove into the parking lot, I thought I was in a the wrong place. The sign outside the store read International Food Gourmet. But the address was the same, so I proceeded inside. The Kabob area is located next to the Meats area. It is to right as you enter the store. The Kabob area has the popular selections of menu up on a wall with pictures. The entire menu is available for view on a flat screen tv next to the cashier. I ordered the Combo Kabob, which consist of kabob chicken thigh and Koubideh, a ground beef kabob, along with basmati rice, grilled veggies, and Lavash bread. I also ordered Grilled Chicken. I was told that it would take about 20 minutes. Luckily, I was not in a hurry! It gave me time to check out the other items offered and the store in general. According to the gentleman that helped me, the items in the prepared area varies daily. I was asking for their Chicken Soup, which they were not offering today. By the way, the service that I received was very good! He was very efficient and was eager to answer all my questions. The Combo Kabob had generous portions. The chicken was tasty and the Koubideh was very flavorful. I really enjoyed and savored every bite! I also liked the grilled chicken. I look forward to returning and trying their other items. The kabob area hours are the following: Monday — Saturday: 11 am — 8 pm Sunday: 11 am — 7 pm.

This place is around the corner from me so when I need fresh veggies or fruits for a decent price, this is my go to place. The olive selection here is unreal — so good the castelvetrano olives are so cheap, I get a giant jar for only $ 6.99! The mango’s and pomegranates are humongous. Genetically modified… maybe. If you want some baklava, they have a bunch! The Oasis Bakery in Belmont sends the best baklava’s to this place. The avocados are delicious and ripe! The selection of sesame candies is great.

Really impressed by this middle eastern grocery store. In addition to the grocery store there’s a small little food shop in the corner of the grocery store that sells kabobs as well as other middle eastern goodies. For the food shop it’s more of a to go/catering kind of place as there’s no seats inside or outside to eat. Prices are pretty reasonable and in terms of the kabobs they have lamb and chicken as well as other really good middle eastern dishes. We ordered the lamb kabobs which are served with rice and vegetable kabobs. We also tried a middle eastern snack which was shaped like a triangle and deep fried. Inside was beef, peas, and carrots. Super good and crispy and will definitely come back for more. As for the kabobs their made to order and it was perfectly cooked and juicy. The vegetable kabob was just OK but that’s because I’m not really a big fan of vegetable kabobs anyway. Overall for the food shop I enjoyed it and will definitely come back to try their other dishes. As for the grocery store, if you’re looking for hard to find Mediterranean/middle eastern goods you definitely should check this place out. We ended getting some fresh vegetables, sadaf tea, and lots of really good middle eastern sweets such as cookies to those candies with the pistachios in the middle. It is true that this place can get really crowded but I’m guessing it’s because of how popular it is. Overall, staff was friendly, food shop was good, and groceries were great. Will definitely come back.

Went here for some Kabobs! Great prices, great menu, and super fresh food! The kabobs taste like the ones in Tehran. They also have a great selection of Persian stews. You can get your food with rice or bread. You can buy 1 chicken kabob and 1 stew with bread for under $ 10.
